So happy we did this
We originally signed up for the snorkeling and sandbar excursion, but the snorkeling was cancelled due to weather. We were able to come back around lunch for the sandbar experience. Lisa was quick to schedule and provided a partial refund. The charter was stocked with snacks, soda and water. Also equipped with a restroom. We opted to bring our own beverages and a light lunch. Cap't Kerry and First Mate Orion were the absolute perfect hosts!! The ride to the sandbar took approximately 20-25 min where the water was warm and pristine (unlike other areas of the Keys due to the sargassum). We were provided paddle boards and kayaks, for the 10 of us on this adventure, which we all took turns. We were able to snorkel in areas and saw some amazing fish!!! Some people spotted sting rays, I spotted a barracuda! I can't wait to return to the Keys and book the reef snorkeling trip with Marathon Mermaid.

Fun Was Had by All
Capt Kery and Orion were great! The music playlist was great, the guys were informative, professional AND funny. The views from the boat were incredible and the sandbar was cool. Thanks!

Great Day Snorkeling and Sandbar
The captain McKinnley and the first mate Orion did a great job we had an awesome time saw so many interesting things. Definitely recommend!

A Must Do!
Fantastic experience on the Marathon Mermaid. This was our second trip with them. We did the Islamorada location previously and this time we did the Marathon location. First Mate O’Rien is the GOAT! The captain was excellent as well and kept everyone safe and well informed. Shout out to Lisa on the reservation line as well. She followed up in a timely manner and was easy to work with. Great customer service! We also lucked out with perfect weather conditions. Thank you Marathon Mermaid for a super day on the water with our family.

Perfect host for perfect vacation outings
We booked 3 cruises with Marathon Mermaid, one of the few awesome independent operators. Angel, the owner, and Lisa here assistant make sure everything goes smoothly. We did the Sandbar, The Snorkle and sand bar and the Sandbar excursions. All excellent trips with over 2.5hrs in site ate each location. Great prices and great locations. Great values from one of the last Owner Operators. Angla rocks. Here Staff, Deck hand Orion (a real star) and his Captain Kinsey were tops. Kisnsey had over 10000 passenger hours and over 1500 solo hours and his safety briefing rocked. We really felt safe. Once we were there Kinsey, performed over watch to ensure we did not get lost or get hurt. In-spite of challenging current conditions we parked with ease and had a great safe time.- We would have booked 4 a fourth cruise if it had not been for the weather
