For those with a food allergy, ask repeatedly. We had informed our guide ahead of time that my daughter has medium allergy to peanuts. However, guide forgot to ask at shop-- and my daughter had an allergic reaction. While our guide Melanie was friendly - almost no information was given to describe the origin of (e.g., where did sugarcane beverage come from? what kind of dumpling is this?), much less the ingredients or even any history of Chinatown. My kids enjoyed sampling food -- but tour not worth the money
Come hungry!! Had an amazing tour with Jerus. Every stop was delicious and unique, and Jerus did a great job interweaving historical context throughout the tour. Highly recommend!
Was told the pictures that were taken would be sent to me on WhatsApp , never received any pictures , guide has his back to me the whole time he walk , seemed bored with his job .. would not recommend to anyone .
We had a food tasting tour today with M star tours. Jerus was our guide. He was fabulous. He had a lot of knowledge and was very courteous and well travelled. He explained us everything very well and we had some fabulous food in binondo. Everything we tried was awesome. I would recommend this to everyone who is interested in trying different things with fun and knowledge and lovely photos for memories. Thank you for this amazing experience.

Fantastic tour of Philippino Chino Town - Mari was a lovely and funny tour guide, giving us great insight into the history and the food. HUGE amount of food so come very hungry
We had an amazing food tour in Binondo with Mari as our guide. She was full of energy, incredibly knowledgeable, and an expert navigator around Binondo. The variety of unique and delicious food was fantastic and she made the whole experience seamless. Mari also brought hand sanitizer and hand wipes, which was much appreciated. Truly an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!
An amazing must do tour to experience the oldest Chinatown in the World! Our guide Mari was funny, entertaining, knowledgeable and really made the experience exceptional 🫶. She took great care of us, teaching us local customs and even how to ride a jeepney. We walked all around the streets of Binodo to taste some amazing food, find hidden restaurants and learn about the cultural history of the Chinese peoples in Manila. The dumplings were my favourite of the day! Highly recommend if you want to experience the real Manila.
Mari was an excellent tour guide. I learned so much about the history of Chinatown in the Philippines. It was a great walk, not too strenuous for a 56-year-old. The food was absolutely phenomenal and very plentiful.
Mara was wonderful, she educated us not only on the food but also on the area, culture, and history. My belly is full, my heart is even fuller. She is a wonderful tour guide and wonderful human.
