Nossos guias são certificados Mestre Naturalistas Avançados e nativos do sul da Flórida que têm sido paddling a maior parte de suas vidas e guiando passeios por mais de 15 anos. Estamos apaixonados pela educação e pela proteção dos belos ecossistemas da Flórida. Nossos grupos são pequenos geralmente 10 hóspedes ou menos fornecendo uma experiência pessoal. Grupos menores também aumentam as chances de observar uma variedade de vida selvagem a uma distância mais próxima. Nossa jornada começa com uma breve instrução e instruções de segurança, enquanto nos preparamos para andar de caiaque por trilhas de mangue intocadas. Começaremos nosso remo em uma enseada calma e isolada, que permitirá ampla prática antes de sair. Reme pelos túneis sinuosos dos manguezais e observe pássaros nativos e outras espécies selvagens, incluindo muitas espécies ameaçadas de extinção, em seu habitat natural. This was a master class in the flora and fauna of this part of Florida. Our guide was very informative and engaging with our tons of questions about the plants, birds etc in this area. It's so great to learn of the history of this park and how the ocean ecosystem interacts with it all. If you want to be outside, get some exercise and do a deep dive on local waterline, this is the tour for you.

The guide was amazing. very patient, helping us all to get into our kayaks. She was very knowledgeable about everything and explained thing very clearly. The tour was just the right length and and a nice pace. Definitely a must do.

When I booked this Salty Souls trip, I was looking for something unobtrusive (kayaks not big boats) and informative. This trip was more remarkable than I had realized because 1. Ariana is an amazing naturalist guide willing to impart a wealth of knowledge about the special nature of this place and 2. The tour location is a county park that excludes motorcraft and is in an area unaffected by the engineering feats that have wrecked the filtering work of the mangrove ecosystem—things I didn’t know when I booked. Our small group got to paddle through the peace and wonder of this mangrove habitat, an amazing opportunity, and Ariana helped us spot plants and wildlife I would have missed. She took great pictures, too, which she shared with us—so we weren’t in danger of losing our phones forever if we dropped them in the murk! The tour helped me, a first-time visitor to Florida, appreciate the uniqueness of this special part of the country.

Such a fun experience with our five year old. We saw so many sea creatures that Ariana went out of her way to find and tell us about! Beautiful day and such a fun learning experience! Highly recommend! Ariana is so knowledgeable, was so great with our daughter, and also sent us a bunch of pictures at the end of the day. We will be back!
