Manchester Taxi Tours com Mike

We had a fantastic time exploring Manchester with Mike. We’re from Manchester ourselves, so we thought we knew the city pretty well, but Mike showed us places and shared stories that we’d never come across before. From St Mary’s Catholic Church to learning about the incredible history of Liverpool Road Station and its connection to the world’s first commuter train journey, we were constantly discovering something new. Mike was warm, welcoming and incredibly knowledgeable, with a real passion for Manchester and its history. He brought the city to life with fascinating stories and little details that you’d easily miss if you were exploring on your own. It was relaxed, interesting and great fun from start to finish. Even as locals, we came away feeling like we’d discovered a whole new side to our own city. We’d definitely recommend Miles with Mike to anyone wanting to see Manchester through the eyes of someone who really knows and loves the city. Thanks, Mike, for a brilliant tour!

A superb tour of Manchester with Mike. He tailored the tour with some things we wanted to see plus we had part of the heritage tour. Mike was friendly and knowledgeable and his taxi was spotlessly clean. It was great value for money. We enjoyed it so much that the next time we’re back we’re going to book again so we can see all the bits we didn’t have time for in the 2.5 hours we spent with Mike

This tour was a fantastic way for us to see Manchester with VERY limited time available to us. I had wanted to swing past some old family addresses but thought it wouldn’t work, but he went out of his way to ensure that I got to see the house my Dad was born in… he made my day! Loved, loved, loved our trip around Manchester with Mike. Manchester is my home city but having lived down south for over 20 years I was pleasently surprised to see Manchester on 'being on the up.'. Mike took us around Manchester and gave very interesting commentary along the way. I would highly recommend Mike

Despite having lived in South Manchester for nearly sixty years there was so much on the tour that we never knew existed and Mike's knowledge of the city and its history really brought it all to life. What an absolutely amazing experience, this was a late booking to see what Manchester was all about and to say we were blown away is as an understatement .
