Começaremos o passeio pela famosa Catedral de Palma, onde iniciaremos nosso passeio pela área, apreciando toda a maravilhosa arquitetura e história que esta gloriosa cidade tem a oferecer!
Passaremos por uma das estruturas mais famosas da cidade, "Estatua Es Foner" ou "El Hondero" que se traduz como "O Swinger". Esta bela estrutura foi doada pelo escultor Jaume Mir em 1992. Jaume Mir foi um dos mais prestigiados escultores de Maiorca do século XX e seu trabalho e técnica rigorosa são reconhecidos internacionalmente.
Continuaremos a descobrir a "Cidade Velha" de Palma caminhando por estes belos jardins! "S'hort del Rei" que se traduz em "Os Jardins dos Reis" localizado sob o Palácio da Almudaina. No século XIV esta área tinha acesso restrito, e estava repleta de árvores frutíferas, plantas, legumes e flores coloridas. O jardim atual foi reformado na década de 1960 pelo arquiteto Gabriel Alomar. Alomar baseou a renovação deste espaço em jardins tradicionais da Andaluzia. Hoje o jardim tem ciprestes, fontes e um grande lago. Aproveite a grande oportunidade de fotos aqui e capture algumas imagens para durar uma vida inteira!
Aqui teremos a oportunidade de percorrer parte das antigas muralhas romanas construídas para proteger a cidade há tantos anos. Você terá as vistas espetaculares do Palácio da Almudaina daqui e vistas de outras partes da cidade!
Assim que descermos das paredes, faremos uma parada para fotos do lado de fora da Catedral de Palma (La Seu) e ouviremos como o local de culto católico romano foi construído no local de uma antiga mesquita árabe. Em seguida, entre para admirar seus vitrais circulares e características projetadas por Gaudí. O colorido e muitas vezes controverso artista modernista deixou sua marca no local, e seu atraente retábulo é considerado o destaque da catedral. Como você está em nossa visita guiada particular, você não precisa esperar nas longas filas que se acumulam na catedral (muito longas!).
Depois de terminar o passeio pela bela catedral, você poderá admirar a beleza do Palácio Real de La Almudaina, que remonta ao século XIV. É a residência oficial de Suas Majestades o Rei e a Rainha durante as suas estadias em Maiorca. Juntamente com a Catedral de Palma, constituem um marco da capital das Ilhas Baleares. Um palácio que reflete os estilos artísticos que se sucederam ao longo da história da ilha.
Enquanto continuamos a passear pela bela cidade velha de Palma, você encontrará o Ayuntamiento de Palma, localizado na Plaza de Cort de Palma. Foi construído entre 1649 e 1680 pelos arquitetos Pere Bauçá, Miquel Oliver e Bartomeu Calafat. Alguns dos elementos mais destacados em sua fachada são a varanda com sete grandes janelas, o Rellotge d'en Figuera (Relógio Figuera) e o Banc del si no fos (Banco de se você não perder). O próprio edifício foi declarado Monumento Histórico-Artístico pertencente ao Tesouro Artístico Nacional por decreto de 3 de junho de 1931.
Enquanto você aprecia as vistas deslumbrantes da Cidade Velha de Palma e a arquitetura histórica, fique de olho na oliveira The Cort! Esta árvore única, conhecida como Olivera de Cort, foi plantada em 1999 na serra de Tramuntana, como símbolo de paz e enraizamento à terra. O Cort Olive Tree está localizado no meio da praça, bem em frente à prefeitura. Apesar da mudança e da sua idade, continua a dar frutos todos os anos.
Este é para os amantes da arte! Um edifício imperdível, pelas suas características. A decoração estilística da fachada até o design de interiores mostra uma forte influência do modernismo catalão, especialmente algumas das obras de Gaudí - aproveite toda a sua glória e tire a câmera para poder guardar esses momentos para sempre!

Not quite the tour we were expecting. Basically a slow walk to the cathedral not much about palma or the old town really should be called guide to cathedral entrance
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry the tour was not what you expected, but we would like to clarify that this is certainly not simply a “slow walk to the Cathedral”. The tour takes you through Palma’s historic Old Town, with explanations about its history, architecture, monuments and local stories along the way, before continuing inside the Cathedral with skip-the-line entrance. Our guides deliberately make several stops throughout the Old Town to explain what guests are seeing rather than simply walking from one place to another. The Cathedral is one of the main highlights, but it is only part of the experience. We appreciate that you may have expected a different type of tour, but describing it as merely a “guide to cathedral entrance” does not accurately represent the itinerary or the experience provided.

A terrible experience. The tour guide was an irresponsible liar. She specified one meeting place after the tour and free time, but the bus arrived at a different location. We arrived at the meeting point indicated on the map 30 minutes before departure time. All of this company’s buses depart from the same location in Palma de Mallorca. For some reason, our bus left from a completely different place. The tour guide had our phone number but did nothing to contact us and warn us about these changes. Then she simply texted, “You weren’t there—sorry.” I regret the time we wasted… Do you think anyone even apologized on behalf of this company? NO. Think twice before buying tours from them. Wonderful “Spanish service” from this company and its guide.

Really good trip to get an insight into the old town of Palma and a really good understanding of the cathedral. We had Luis as our guide and he was very good with explanations, pace and keeping us in the shade where he could. Would really recommend.
