Makarska: Excursão ao Skywalk & Biokovo Viewpoint

Was picked up at the hotel at the agreed time. Very nice and knowledgeable guide, lots of interesting info during the tour. Totally wild nice view, just fit long walk up to the top before picnic. Got greeted on the wild horses, sat a scorpion and attended one friary on skywalk, lovely trip! Remember to bring enough water, it will be hot.

If you are in Makarska, I would highly recommend this tour. Ivan was our driver, He spoke very good English and took us on an exhilarating trip up the mountain. He has a great sense of humour and clearly loves his job. We went up with 2 other buggies, of which there were several nationalities. Jure was our English speaking guide (also a driver) Such a lovely funny guy. We had a ‘picnic’ at the top of the mountain, with homemade food and wine/cherry liquor Such a great personal touch. After which, we headed for the Skywalk. (The homemade wine helps to give you the courage to walk on the glass walkway😂) We also encountered lots of wild horses. It was a great experience half day tour. We did ours late afternoon which was perfect. There is also a tour early morning I believe. Thank you Ivan and Jure, you guys are great. It was the best tour of our holiday.

This tour was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! Everything was very well organized, and the entire experience ran smoothly. The Biokovo Skywalk was breathtaking, with incredible views that made the trip unforgettable. Our tour guides were awesome-friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and made the day so much fun. We felt safe, well looked after, and enjoyed every minute of the adventure. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Makarska! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great experience up in the mountains with the horses. Great views and a brilliant touch of bread and cheese and wine served in the mountains. Our guide took us above the skywalk before visiting the skywalk itself.

We thank you for this unforgettable experience! The buggy tour with Sky Adventure in Makarska on Biokovo was one of the most beautiful excursions we have ever experienced. We were picked up by the buggy from the hotel; the drive to the Biokovo Mountains was a real experience, the driver was very friendly and drove excellently. Our 6-year-old daughter was initially skeptical, but in the end, she was totally happy. Upon arriving in the mountains, we were greeted by wild horses and even had time to get out and take photos. Ivan, the German-speaking tour guide, knew a lot about the land and its people, as well as the wildlife, and had a wonderfully calm way of telling everything. Ivan even showed us a small scorpion that was hiding under a rock. After the short hike, there were deliciously and lovingly prepared snacks with homemade ham and cheese, as well as wine, schnapps, and fresh oranges. Everything was very tasty, and the atmosphere was magical in this beautiful nature. In that moment, we knew we were at the right place at the right time. Afterward, we continued to the Biokovo viewpoint; it was a bit crowded there, but we could still take photos and enjoy the view in a relaxed manner. We are glad that we booked this trip and thank you again for this individual and personal tour 👍

We were picked up direct from our hotel by Jure, and after a short time we’re high in the hills.. wow 🤩 we stoped once on way up to admire the view you could see the skywalk and it did look daunting…🫣 another 800m still to go. We drove past the skywalk and onward to picnic table further up the hill. After a walk we arrived and what seemed the highest point. Fantastic views. When we returned to the table Jure had a picnic ready for us some cherry brandy and homemade white wine along with a board of bread cheese and prosciutto, very nice break in beautiful countryside. Then down to the skywalk but after a few Brandie’s and glasses of wine perhaps not quite as daunting as it first looked.. 😎 What a view.. fantastic.. All in all a great trip Jure the guide was brilliant and gave out lots of info throughout the trip.. overall worth doing and the buggie were great way to get up and down the mountain.

The trip was worth it even though the weather was cloudy. The clouds surrounded the summit on and off making for interesting views. Now you see it, now you don't. Our guide was personable, knowledgeable about the flora and fauna and shared some nice snacks and drinks. Definitely a highlight of the Makarska Rivera.

Fun trip with two good drivers and guides. We got to see the highest point in the area with views and then the skywalk itself. It was incl. pleasant lunch.

We had a fantastic morning exploring Biokovo mountain and the sky walk. Our tour guide Ivan was warm, friendly and super knowledgeable about the mountain and national park. From picking us up from our hotel, to the lovely picnic and local wine he gave us, we loved exploring the mountain and taking in the breathtaking scenery. Definitely a must do trip if you’re staying in Makarska!

Great experience. Ivan, the driver of my group, any Jure my guide (Ivan is proficient in German, and I was the only non-German speaking visitor), were both great; relaxed, talkative and very informative. The booking procedure was easy and straightforward. The information about pick up time was timely and I was picked up at the agreed time at my preferred location. We got everything described in the offer. The Biokovo skywalk is great per se, offering nice views and an unique experience. A picnic with homemade delicacies and another viewing point are added value. The route to the locations is quite challenging, so a buggy is an excellent choice, even if a bit more expensive than some other options (but there are some other goodies besides a vehicle type).
