Encontraremos o nosso guia na Plaza de las Descalzas, em frente à porta de entrada do mosteiro e começaremos o nosso tour. Iremos à entrada do Mosteiro das Descalzas Reales após uma explicação de sua fachada e exterior. Admiraremos áreas tão belas como o claustro, através do qual passa a Procissão do Santo Enterro que ocorre todos os anos na Sexta-feira Santa. Também vamos contemplar a escadaria principal. Considerado por muitos, a verdadeira jóia do monumento. Em suas paredes poderemos ver pinturas murales feitas em diferentes períodos e no teto, uma pintura impressionante atribuída a Claudio Coello. Ao longo da visita, também visitaremos a Sala de Tapetes, a Sala de Coro e encontraremos portas Plateresques, inúmeras obras de arte de enorme valor e pinturas de alguns dos maiores pintores da história, como Zurbarán, Antonio Moro ou Luca Giordano. Depois de uma hora e quarenta, nossa visita terminará na saída do mosteiro.

This tour was disappointing. Often, the guide did not wait for the group to gather in each room before he started speaking. Thereby, missing the beginning of the explanation. He kept moving around instead of standing still making it difficult to hear him. Overall, this made the tour feel rushed.
This is a royal monastery. Benny was our guide. He gave us lots of great information. This was an English speaking tour. I would highly recommend taking this tour. If you book directly with the monastery, I believe the tours are only in Spanish.
The monastery is incredible and our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly! Might be the best tour we took in Spain!
One of the least known places to visit but it was a gem. Our guide Benny is amazing. Not only is he knowledgeable on the history of Spain but he loves what he does. It shows in his presentation of the work.

We took advantage of the free visit thanks to our European identity cards. When we arrived at 16:00, we were asked to return at 17:00 because the 1st session was full. We take care to be cool and visit the cloister. Finally it was hot in the rooms and we could not see the cloister. The guide is probably very interesting. But big disappointment.
Very enjoyable tour, guide knowledgeable and set a good pace. Would definitely recommend for tour of the park.
