We were informed at 8 PM that the hot air balloon activity scheduled for the next day with a departure at 4 AM was canceled. The proposed refund was only €20 per person! I challenge anyone to find a hot air balloon activity at this price. From there, we already left with a very bad impression. Then, the temple visit was indeed maintained, but be careful: you must add to the price paid on the app (€110) the entrance fee for each temple (between €10 and €20 per person). At the Valley of the Kings, you also have to pay €15 per person to enter the tomb of Tutankhamun. Once on site, the guide asked us for an additional €15 per person for an explanation of the history of Tutankhamun, implying that it was necessary. In the end, it was simply commenting on the information already present on the panels, which could easily be translated for free with a phone. Finally, these amounts had to be paid either in cash or by card through the restaurant where we were required to have lunch, which is also paid (€15 per person). Between a questionable refund and a day where we had to pull out our wallets at every step, we could not fully enjoy an experience that should have been unforgettable. It's really a shame because the potential of this excursion is immense, but the lack of transparency regarding costs and the handling of the cancellation greatly spoiled our experience. Total cost: over €200 for the activity (far from the €110 included with the hot air balloon).

Originally booked for the hot air balloon and full day tour. Directly after booking, I messaged Dr. Mo to clarify that the hot air balloon would happen he replied with a thumbs up. 24 hours later when it was too late to cancel he then messaged me and says there is no hot air balloon only the tour. If you are on a budget, do not book this tour there are costs that you are not informed about and you will be paying extra for each stop including lunch. I asked the tour guide in advance. If there were anything else I would need to pay for his response was no however when we got to each site we had to purchase entry tickets. They did not even provide us with Water, every tour I’ve been on they’ve given us water because it is quite hot outside.

The provider informed me less than 24 hours before that it was canceled and I have not yet been refunded.

The tour was good, but there are details I described that I wish I had known before booking. I booked in April for an experience in June. One thing to know is that Egyptian tourism routinely* shuts down hot air balloons for three months during the hottest time of year. I booked this experience in April to visit in June, and my biggest disappointment was that the company advertised the hot air balloon when they knew this would not be possible. This was confirmed by both my hostel and a family I met through an AirBnB experience- everyone told me it was not possible that I had booked a hot air balloon and were confused how this was allowed to happen. The company did communicate the day before the tour to say the hot air balloon was cancelled due to weather. Which is not the complete truth but it is true. At that point, it was too late to cancel or reevaluate whether I wanted to change tours. This felt dishonest to me because they knew in advance the hot air balloon would not have been possible. I requested a 30% refund because we did not do 1/3 of the experience with TripAdvisor. The tour itself was average to good. It was a quick pace set by our guide, so we had to ask for more time at each site. Our guide gave us information in the car and at the beginning of the sites, but they did not walk into the tombs with us or continue to give a detailed explanation. Instead we were given time to explore independently. Again, that is ok, and the reason I gave three stars. It got the job done, and most of the experience was as described.

We are disappointed with the way this booking has been handled. The hot air balloon ride was a major reason we made this reservation, yet it appears that balloon flights do not operate during the summer period. Given that this information would have been known at the time of booking, we do not believe the activity should have been offered as available. While we appreciate that a partial refund was provided for the balloon ride, we were left with no practical option to cancel the remainder of the booking once the main attraction was removed. We do not feel it is reasonable to expect customers to proceed with the rest of the tour under these circumstances, especially when the booking was made based on the inclusion of the hot air balloon experience.

We booked the Hot Air Balloon + Half day tour around the West Bank. Unfortunately, the hot air balloon ride got cancelled due to the windy conditions so we did the tour around West Bank. We had Mo as our tour guide and he was so great at guiding us. In regard to the hot air balloon ride, we were able to reschedule easily the next morning and thankfully, the weather was perfect. Mo was the pilot of the hot air balloon as well and he was very smooth at piloting. Made the whole thing experience easy and smooth. Had the best time!

It was a wonderful view. It's early in the morning, but you should definitely experience it. Mohammad, Ahmed is a good man.

My guides Mohammad and Apdara were the best. They made sure the tour went smoothly. The sunrise was well in time and it was the best memory.

It was a beautiful experience to ride in a hot air balloon; it was lovely to watch the sunrise. They picked us up very punctually, and everything went very well. The only downside was that we asked them to give us a ride to the Valley of the Kings to make the most of the morning since we were right there, and they charged us an extra 500 pounds just for 7 minutes of driving. That felt like a scam to me, but everything else was fine.

. The hot air balloon ride was excellent. Wasche was very nice to us, and the captain showed us the various tourist sites. However, we did not have any snacks or tea, as indicated.
