We had a fantastic tour, and our guide, Moshen, was outstanding. He was funny, warm, courteous, friendly, and professional—but what impressed me most was how much he actually knew. I didn’t want a guide with just a superficial knowledge of Egyptian history. I wanted someone who truly knew his subject and knew how to deliver that information in an interesting and engaging way. Moshen absolutely delivered. He was genuinely enjoyable to spend the day with, and even though it was HOT outside, he kept the experience fun and interesting. He also recommended that we visit Luxor Temple at night, which was an excellent suggestion. He provided the ticket included in our tour package, and we absolutely loved seeing Luxor Temple beautifully illuminated after dark. Our driver was equally professional. The car was clean, cool, and comfortable, and he drove carefully and responsibly. I never felt like we were at risk or that he was taking unnecessary chances—which I really appreciate when traveling. Both gentlemen were professional, courteous, and excellent at what they do. It was a great tour from beginning to end. We highly recommend Moshen and his driver to anyone visiting Luxor.

Overall, we enjoyed our private Luxor tour. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and provided good service. However, there were two issues that affected our experience. First, we were told that the Luxor Temple ticket would allow us to return later the same day. When we came back at sunset, we learned that it was one-entry only and had to purchase another ticket. The delay meant we lost much of the limited sunset time we had planned for photography. When we raised this, our guide said we had misunderstood him, although we are both certain that was not what he told us. The issue was not the cost of the ticket, but the loss of trust. Second, we later realized that the Colossi of Memnon, which was listed in our itinerary, was not included in our tour. For future guests, I strongly recommend double-checking the itinerary with your guide at the very beginning of the tour and clarifying exactly how the tickets work, including whether re-entry is allowed, so there are no surprises later. The tour was otherwise very enjoyable, but these issues prevented us from giving a higher rating.

It was my first time visiting Luxor. I am so happy and pleased I took this tour! My guide Khaled Elsmaky was so knowledgeable and friendly. It was easy to ask him questions and build the trip they way I could enjoy it. My big gratitude to him for making this trip so special and safe for me🙏❤️ I recommend Kaled and this tour. You will have memories for a lifetime.

He was kind enough to show me around. He was not good at English, but he spoke slowly and easily.

We had great time with Khaled. It was long, so I would suggest eating a good meal before. It’s a very well timed tour. I would recommend.

We had a nice day trip visiting the West Bank sites of Luxor with our guide Khaled and driver Yousef. They picked us up from our hotel on time. Both were friendly, polite and professional throughout our tour. Khaled spoke perfect English and was extremely knowledgeable of the history and sites, not just in Luxor but Egypt. He also provided very helpful recommendations for our stay in the city. The car used for our tour was in very good condition and comfortable. We were quite happy with the service we received from Reflection Travels, Khaled and Yousef.

Abdul was an excellent tour guide. As a trained Egyptologist, he knew so much and really brought the sites we saw to life. As a private tour, he was very flexible, which was nice so we could adjust to the kids, especially on a very hot day.

I pre arranged this with seperate filght from Sharm el sheikh. Everything was on time. Pick up driver Hamdy was at Luxor airport to pick us up and stayed with us all day. Iur tour guide Khaled was a very gentle man. Funny, experienced and very knowledgeable. He made the day a joy. Showed us all the major sights of Luxor. We appreciated his time. All in all a wonderful day and highly recommend this experience for the historical sights.

While I only spoke poor English, he talked to me a lot and tried to entertain me in various ways! They talked about their private lives as well as the history of each place, and I was able to join the tour in a cozy atmosphere. If you ever come to Luxor again, I would like to ask you.

Our tour was absolutely amazing. The drive was very comfortable, especially in this heat. Khaled, our guide, went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed every minute. He is very knowledgeable and told us the story with a lot of details, which we truly appreciated. Everything was perfectly organized.
