Seu motorista em Xi'an irá pegar você do lobby do seu hotel por volta das 6:50 da manhã e transferi-lo para a Estação Ferroviária Norte de Xi'an para pegar o trem de alta velocidade G3154 (08:39-10:18) ou trem similar de Xi'an para Luoyang (aproximadamente 1,5 horas).
Após a sua chegada a Luoyang, nosso guia e motorista locais o encontrarão na estação ferroviária e o levarão até as Grutas de Longmen, que é um tesouro da arte antiga de escultura em pedra, com mais de 100.000 estátuas de pedra aqui, variando de 2 centímetros a 17,14. metros de altura e se estendendo por cerca de 1.094 jardas ao longo das duas margens do rio Yi. A cerca de 12 quilômetros da cidade de Luoyang, é uma das três cavernas budistas e esculturas em pedra mais valiosas da China (2 horas).
Começaremos indo em direção ao famoso Templo Shaolin (aprox. 2,5 horas de carro) que é conhecido por Shaolin Kung Fu. Você terá a chance de testemunhar o verdadeiro Kung Fu executado pelos monges Shaolin. O Templo Shaolin é famoso não apenas como um dos templos budistas mais importantes da China, mas também como o centro do Kung Fu chinês. Construído pela primeira vez em 495, o templo foi projetado principalmente para acomodar Batuo, um famoso monge indiano. Agora, o Templo Shaolin tem a reputação de "o Templo Número Um sob o Céu", que também está listado como Patrimônio Mundial Cultural e Natural da UNESCO em 2010 como parte dos "Monumentos Históricos de Dengfeng". O templo é o berço do Zen Budismo Chinês e das artes marciais Shaolin.
Depois de visitar o Templo Shaolin, o seu guia o levará à Estação Ferroviária Luoyang Longmen para o trem G1933 (19:08-20:38) ou um trem similar de volta a Xi'an (aproximadamente 1,5 horas).
O motorista de Xi'an irá buscá-lo na Estação Ferroviária Norte de Xi'an e transferi-lo de volta ao seu hotel em Xi'an.

The agency did a wonderful job. The guide was amazing with very good English and even Spanish. The trip is a bit long but it is ok and very worth it. They treated us very good!

Guide was thorough in explaining the history of Longmen Grottoes and Shaolin Temple. Driver was adept at making adjustments based on road closures. The actual destinations were a bit too commercialised (Shaolin) and crowded (Longmen) for the experience to actually be enjoyable. Would also recommend for the tour to be extended to two days and include a trip up Songshan - seems a bit of a shame to travel all the way to Luoyang and not see that amazing view

Everything was arranged promptly. Agency is very proactive in confirming details prior to the trip. All arrangements were made without much fuss. Train tickets were sent to hotel concierge in advance and explanations and advice were given beforehand on what to expect and bring. Tour guide, Fei, was very attentive and provided us with umbrella and handheld electronic fan as the weather was sweltering hot! Her explanation was detailed too. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful time on this excursion from Xi'an. From the start of the day to the finish. Our driver was early to pick us up from the hotel, but was patient and waited while we finished our breakfast. We got to the train station in planet of time and were able to easily navigate our way to the train as a result of the excellent communication and instructions we recieved from China Xi'an Tours local agent Lenna. Thanks to the help of the train conductor, we were able to learn exactly when to get off the train (which was a very pleasant trip travelling at 303km/h!) As we were told, Joe, our local guide, was waiting for us with our name as we exited the train station. Overall, Joe was a spectacular tour guide. He paid attention to what we liked and didn't waste our time on stuff we didn't care about. The drive to the Grottoes was easy. Joe gave us tons of interesting facts. He is very service oriented and took care to ensure our expectations were clear all day. The lunch was very good and quick which is great for us because we didn't want to spend a lot of time eating. After lunch the long drive to Shaolin temple was good and nice time for a nap. Again, Joe was very informative and we enjoyed learning about the awesome history and the origin of Kung Fu. The show at the temple was really entertaining. Joe got us back to the train station with plenty of time. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. Upon our arrival back to Xi'an we found our driver right where Lenna said he would be (complete with pictures!) Again, excellent communication! We think a reminder for folks to have their passports along would be a good idea. We had ours along by sheer luck. The train station attendants on our return trip wanted to see them.

The place is utterly breathtaking! The enormity and the beauty of it is amazing. My husband and I were dumbfounded, looking at all the carvings, small and huge alike. We moved from one grotto to another with renewed sense of admiration and awe. Our guide Lisa was a gem, plenty of background information and history. She was very knowledgeable, witty and funny which made our visit all the more enjoyable. I highly recommend this trip and this company!
