We had a great 4 day trip to the lost city with guide Miguel and cook Ricardo. The views were amazing and we had the chance to meet local people. There are also stops where you cab swim in the river and near waterfalls.
Incredible 4-day tour to the Lost City. I had the pleasure of meeting Marco at the agency, and he cleared up all the doubts I had. On the tour, I was accompanied by Rafael, a native guide whose knowledge made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommended.
The trek to the Lost City was the main reason for my trip to Colombia, and it turned out to be even more meaningful than I expected. Walking through the Sierra Nevada for four days is not just a hike — it’s an experience that slowly pulls you away from the rhythm of everyday life. The jungle, the rivers, the mountains and the silence of the surroundings make you feel completely immersed in nature. Reaching the Lost City at the end feels incredibly special and rewarding. The team from eConnection played a huge role in making the journey so positive. The guides were always attentive, friendly and very knowledgeable, sharing stories about the history of the site, the local communities and the natural environment along the way. Their presence made the trek feel safe, well organized and much more enriching than simply walking a trail. Another big highlight was the food, which was surprisingly good for such a remote trek. The cooks prepared generous and tasty meals every day, something you truly appreciate after hours of hiking. The accommodation along the route was also better than expected. It’s definitely a physically demanding trek, but with a supportive team and such an incredible environment around you, it becomes an unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend.
Had a great trek to the Ciudad perdida with econnections. The guides (Pedro and Vasilio) were excellent, well-prepared, kind and knowledgeable. The relatively small group size was great to make connections and learn about the history of the area. Can definitely recommend!

Reaching the Lost City was much more than a trek; it was a true adventure and, in many ways, an inner journey. From the first day we felt accompanied, cared for, and very well guided. The entire team made the experience smooth and memorable, even during the most demanding parts of the trail. I want to highlight especially our guide Duleidis Larios, who was an incredible support throughout the trek. She was always attentive, clear with information, and very human in her approach. During the toughest moments she gave us encouragement and made sure everyone felt safe and supported at every stage of the journey. A special mention also goes to Leidy, who cooked for us every day. The food was absolutely delicious and clearly prepared with care. After long days of hiking, having such thoughtful and tasty meals made a big difference and helped us keep the energy to continue. The landscape along the route is simply spectacular. As you enter indigenous territory, you gradually leave behind the noise of the city and begin to appreciate a simpler way of living that is deeply connected with nature. It is one of those places that you don’t just visit—you truly feel it. I would also like to thank Gabo, who shared with us the richness of his culture and the deep love he has for this land. Listening to him added a meaningful cultural dimension to the whole experience. The trek is demanding, but with a dedicated and caring team like this it becomes even more special and rewarding. I return home with unforgettable memories and a strong desire to come back someday. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a real adventure in Colombia.
