This has been an amazing and memorable family first trip to Africa. Claire is very prompt to reply to all my questions She helped to organised and plan the trip to suit our family of 5. Daniel our guide is very knowledgeable on all the wildlife. He has eagle sharp eyes and can spot an animal/birds miles away so we don't miss anything. We also learnt a lot on Namibia (culture, people, places and food) from Daniel. We all had a great time travelling across Namibia and safari at Ethosa Park. We misses Namibia and hope to be back one day. Thank you Claire and Daniel from the Lai family from Singapore

We spent three weeks traveling around Southern Africa for our honeymoon, and our week in Namibia with Lark Journeys was far and away our favorite week. Our guide Elvis was so knowledgable and has truly seen every inch of Namibia. All of the accommodations were way beyond our expectations, and they were all lovely to rest in after a long day's drive. If you're planning on visiting Namibia, you won't regret booking with Claire and Lark!

We asked Claire from Lark Journeys to develop a 7-day itinerary for the two of us on the basis of their 6-day loop. She readily obliged, and we had a fantastic holiday. The communication was clear and prompt in the lead-up to the trip, and Claire met with us in person in Windhoek to give final practical advice, e.g. wear sandals with long socks in the dunes of Sossusvlei. We may have looked daggy but this certainly helped when climbing the Big Daddy! We saw much of the country traversing Etosha, Skeleton Coast, Swakopmund and Sossusvlei. The 4x4 Lark truck was new and comfortable. On some days we covered 350km but it was never boring, and we didn't feel rushed. Morne, our guide, was full of knowledge, tact, and good humour; all the park rangers, hotel managers and cafe owners on the road seemed to be his friends. Everything was well organised and went smoothly - not having a single mishap or delay throughout a week is quite unprecedented. Most of the lodges at which we stayed were spectacular, very comfortable, and served great food. Seeing iconic wild animals at close range was, naturally, a highlight of our journey. But equally exciting were the ever changing landscapes, village 'chill houses', and common native plants and critters that had oodles of charm. Ground squirrels loitering near a bakery at Solitaire were a hoot. Going with Lark Journeys was absolutely the right choice, and we'd use them again without hesitation.
