Longtail Boat Private Charter Tour para Hong Islands saindo de Krabi

The trip was very nice , of the 4 islands you can definitely save the last one. It would have been enough to drive around to see this beauty. Definitely way too long for a 2 hour stay. No shade and no catering

The Hong Lagoon was the best part of the chauffeur. The two men spoke virtually no English, they just told us how many hours we could spend at each stop. Had we known Hong Lagoon was the only jellyfish free stop, then we would have asked to stay there longer! The other stops had warning signs to beware jellyfish and was not safe to swim.

Beautiful islands, nature and christal clear water. This was really nice trip and everything worked out smoothly.

We decided to take a boat to ourselves which was great. On the day it was. Little cloudy which was fine as full sun would be 90 so far to hot .we went at 2pm and it was perfect as lots off boat’s were returning. There were no cues to get on the island but I’m sure in peak season it would be horrible as one boat at a time loaded.You have to pay 300 bhat each to go on th island. The beach was lovely as again we had missed the crowds but there were so many rules to be aware off re swimming etc. no swimming when the tide is out , no picking up dead or alive coral on the beach or in the sea . A lifeguard will continually whistle if you do things wrong which when busy I’m sure could be very painful . The metal steep stairs walk to the view point at the top off the island is not for the faint hearted and can be exhausting if very hot. Give it lots off thought before you set out . I preferred to walk around the nature trail and sit on the beach. Well worth a visit if not to expensive.

I will start off by saying that Hong island was beautiful and definitely worth a visit. My low rating was due to the actual tour provided. First off the description is wrong. If you are here during dry season (16th February 2024 in our case) then they do not leave at 07.30 as described. We only found out about this after I messaged them the day before asking to leave as early as possible. They told us pickup was at 9.00 am. Driver arrived around 9.20 am. Also our boat was the LAST one to leave the pier. We opted for an early private tour solely to be able to beat the crowds on the islands. That was the whole point of chosing a private early tour. Meaning we overpaid for absolutely no reason. Not to mention that our boat driver barely communicated with us. Left us on the island and when we were ready to leave slightly earlier we had no way of contacting him telling him we would like to leave. I had to find him among the other boats with a picture I had happened to take of the boats bow and tried to find one with the matching colors. The other stops were pretty but not worth it. Our "snorkeling" stop had absolutely nothing to see in the water because the water was so murky. We had to dive all the way to the bottom to see anything, and even then it was only dead coral and rocks. I highly recommend visiting the island but absolutely not through this company. You have better luck buying something cheaper along the many tour shops littering the streets of Krabi.

We thoroughly enjoy the tour. The driver was patient and showed as the highlights of the area in a very leisurely pace. Highly recommend the Longtail Boat ride.

Had a fantastic time! I spent a week in Krabi, and this was my favorite activity by far. Loved how professional and accommodating our tour guide, Mud, was. He was so kind, funny, and helpful. My partner and I were hesitant to book at first because we felt like it would be more enjoyable and safer to go with others, but once we set sail, we were immediately glad that we opted for this option instead. It was very intimate and spacious. Seeing other tour boats full of people seemed uncomfortable, especially for those that want to take lots of pictures.

The lagoon was the coolest thing I’ve ever seen, then we snorkeled at Pakbia island, then went to Hong Island for the 360 hike which was the sweatiest stair climb of my life but we saw a cómodo dragon. Then we hopped back on the boat to head back but it died so we had to get towed by another one (this happens all the time) and it even added to the experience we thought it was hilarious. The guide/captain spoke 0 English but all we needed to do was walk up to boat and tell him we’re ready to leave and he took us to the next spot. If you’re looking to be chauffeured around the islands in the simplest way, this is it. Thank you!!

The worst tour we did in all of Thailand. They were late picking us up, then they dropped us off and we waited for the guide. Then he took us to the boat and we waited for him to actually get the boat. Probably started the actual tour an hour later than we should have. When the tour finished, we waited about 30 minutes for their transportation to just pick us back up. It was ridiculous. Looking at other boats people were on, ours was literally in the worst condition. The boat also broke down during the tour. Guide spoke very very limited English so he could barely communicate with us. He was able to let us know we were waiting for another boat to come. So we just waited and waited. About 30 mins later we asked for an update when the boat was coming, he said no boat was coming anymore, he “fixed” the boat. It was hardly fixed and would take him about 10 minutes to just start. Since he barely spoke English, he couldn’t tell us anything about where he was dropping us off. He would just say get off and give us no details. Had he been able to communicate, we would have stayed at the one place we actually wanted to go, which was the only good place for snorkeling-since this was a snorkeling tour. But since he couldn’t communicate we went to several locations that were not suitable for snorkeling. Then the company tried to scam us. The listing specifically says lunch is not included. We brought sandwiches and snacks with us. After we ate, he showed us they brought us fried rice. We declined since we just ate. The guide kept trying to get us to eat it, so eventually one person in our group ate one of the fried rices. When the tour was over and we were waiting 30 minutes to get picked up, the guide put the company on the phone who was demanding we pay for the fried rice. This company is a scam and the absolute worst tour we did in all of Thailand. Highly do not recommend, find any other tour.
