Este passeio de bicicleta em Salzburgo é o complemento perfeito para nossos passeios a pé. Enquanto exploramos a histórica Cidade Velha de Salzburgo nos passeios a pé, o passeio de bicicleta nos leva à natureza ao redor de Salzburgo. No entanto, o passeio de bicicleta não apenas mostra os arredores de Salzburgo, mas também nos leva a alguns dos locais de filmagem mais emblemáticos da Noviça Rebelde e conta a história das filmagens do filme A Noviça Rebelde, mas também a verdadeira história da família Trapp em Salzburgo. Percorremos a avenida majestosa mais antiga da Europa Central e encontramos vários castelos que na história foram usados por arcebispos e nobreza, antes de servirem como locais de filmagem para o filme. Nosso ponto de encontro para o Lonely Goatherd Bike Tour de Salzburgo está localizado nos arredores da cidade velha de Salzburgo. Portanto, leva apenas 2 minutos de bicicleta para transitar da cidade para a bela paisagem que circunda Salzburgo.

O Frohnburg é um dos castelos que alinham o caminho para o Palácio Hellbrunn ao longo do "Hellbrunner Allee", o Beco do Príncipe-Arcebispo. O Frohnburg foi o castelo usado para a fachada da casa no filme A Noviça Rebelde. Hoje em dia pertence à Universidade de Música de Salzburgo e é por isso que muitas vezes você pode ouvir música clássica vindo de dentro.
O palácio Hellbrunn é o destaque dos arredores de Salzburgo. Hellbrunn é mais conhecido pelas fontes de truques, mas Hellbrunn também é uma parada em qualquer turnê Sound of Music por causa do gazebo da música dezesseis e dezessete do filme. Quando chegamos a Hellbrunn depois de 5 quilômetros de ciclismo, fazemos uma pequena pausa para ver o parque, o palácio do lado de fora e o pavilhão, e tomar algo para beber ou comer, se desejar.
Leopoldskron, um castelo da primeira metade do século XVIII, e o Leopoldskroner Weiher, um lago artificial criado para o castelo, também foram usados em A Noviça Rebelde. O Castelo de Leopoldskron foi usado como a parte de trás da casa onde Maria e as crianças penduradas nas árvores e onde viraram com o barco. O castelo é agora propriedade da fundação americana "Salzburg Global Seminar". O parque é acessível apenas aos hóspedes do Hotel Schloss Leopoldskron. Portanto, não podemos visitar o parque diretamente, mas enquanto pedalamos ao redor da lagoa temos uma ótima vista do outro lado.
A Abadia de Nonnberg não é apenas o mosteiro mais antigo para mulheres do mundo, mas também foi a abadia da Noviça Rebelde. A Abadia fica perto do ponto de encontro do Salzburg Bike Tour. Portanto, subiremos à abadia antes de terminar o passeio. A Abadia de Nonnberg é ligeiramente elevada, o que oferece outra vista fantástica dos arredores no sul de Salzburgo e dos Alpes à distância. Não podemos entrar na Abadia, mas podemos entrar na igreja e no cemitério que lhe dará uma ideia do que é o convento.

Our tour with Johannes was a 10/10!!! He was very funny, engaging, knowledgeable and really brought the beautiful city of Salzburg to life!!! HIGHLY recommend this tour :).
This was a huge tick off my bucket list and something I’ve wanted to do since I first visited Salzburg as a poor student 44 years ago ! We opted for the bicycle tour as something a bit idiosyncratic and it lived up to all expectations. We bicycled through the most gorgeous countryside around Salzburg and visited many of the films iconic locations all the while to the accompaniment of the soundtrack with the added fun of group sing a longs ! I know it sounds corny but it was fabulous! Our tour guide Roberta was a complete gem and we enjoyed so many of her stories behind the scenes of SOM and Austria in general Has to be one of my fav days !

Brendan was our guide and he was simply delightful. We had so much fun visiting the Sound of a music sites via bike. The other patrons became friends and it was an amazing tour
This was my favourite tour of Salzburg. So lovely to be out on a bike on a beautiful day. You get to stop at the sound of music sites. Highly recommend
We were not sure about getting a Sound of Music tour since others were booked up. We lucked into talking with Gary, the bartender at our youth hostel, who told about this tour company and that he was leading a bike tour the next day! We were traveling with our two sons, ages 12 and 9. Gary made it super entertaining for the entire group of adults and the boys, including a quick jump into the canal for a cool swim. He was knowledgeable and shared pictures and great stories. The ride was the perfect length of around 2 hours. Also got some wonderful pictures. Thanks Gary!!

Brendan made this trip really fun! We had a nice ride to all of the highlighted locations from the movie, and even a few bonus stops. He gave some great behind-the-scenes information about the movie during the tour as well. You can tell he really appreciates not only the Sound of Music, but the overall culture of Salzburg.

The tour Guide I think his name was Gary or maybe it was Tim, was really enjoyable, had a nice conversation about wildlife really knowledgable guy about hippos funnily enough which are my favourite animal, any ways back to the point i would highly recommend this tour just to get out and see the place, the guide made it excellent touring

Gary from Cork was our guide and he was very helpful and reassuring as I was a little nervous cycling as I hadn't done it in quite a while. He has a huge knowledge on not only The Sound of Music but also the Von Trapp family and he was able to give the answers to whatever questions were thrown at him. It was a fabulous cycle and I was so pleased that I decided to do this...one if the highlights of my holiday in Austria

The tour guide was very informative and engaged throughout the entire tour. The scenery we biked through was absolutely beautiful and I learned a lot! I would totally recommend this experience to anyone!
The meeting spot was a little outside the town and the guide was unsure where the WC was, and that is probably a necessary thing to know. We did find one before we departed but had to find one nearby on our own. There was only one stop i didn't need to see and that was the pink flamingo colony. Other than that tour was great and guide very nice and shared great insights into the movie
