We had a wonderful full-day tour of the Scottish Highlands with Tony Munro from Highland Guided Tours. The tour was excellent, and Tony was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about Scottish history and culture. During the day, we visited many amazing places, including Cawdor Castle, Urquhart Castle with its famous Highland horses nearby, a local gin distillery, Loch Ness, Inverness, and the ancient sacred stones of Balnuaran of Clava. One of the most beautiful experiences was at the end of the day on the beach by the loch, where Tony surprised us with a beautiful basket filled with delicious Scottish products. It was such a thoughtful and memorable touch. Tony was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the Highlands and made every stop interesting and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic and unforgettable Highland experience
Thanks so much for your review and it was a fun day out. It was my pleasure to share the history for you and that together we managed to lure the Scottish Clydesdale horses over to pet. I know your list of photos will come out great. Safe travels on your trip and hope to see you back again one day. Tony
Tony is a small business owner and gives an extremely personalized tour. He is very friendly knowledgeable, and brings more to the table than all of these major tour companies. Worth every penny. We highly recommend Tony if you are a social person who enjoys not just listening but also contributing yourself. 10/10

Hi Kristin, thanks so much for your review. We hope you enjoy the rest of your time here in Scotland and hope to see you back again some day. Take Care & Safe Travels. Tony & Johnny
Our tour guide, Tony, was a local lad who was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The tour was amazing and we came away feeling like we had experienced an authentic Scottish experience whilst still hitting the big tourist sights. It’s the extra attention to detail and Tony’s easy going nature that makes this the trip you need to do. We have been travelling around Europe for six weeks and have done many tours. This was the best by far 💙

We booked a full-day private tour from Inverness with Tony, and it was absolutely fantastic! Tony was friendly, professional, and so knowledgeable—he brought the history and legends of the Highlands to life in such an engaging way. The day was perfectly paced with a great mix of sights, stories, and photo stops, and we never felt rushed. Tony’s sense of humor and easygoing personality made the whole experience even more enjoyable. By the end of the day, it felt like we were traveling with a friend. If you’re in Inverness and want a memorable, personalized Highland adventure, don’t hesitate—ask for Tony!

Our guide, Johnny, was fabulous!! He was very knowledgeable about all the sites we visited. He was quite accommodating with what we wanted to do and our schedule. The personal touches and information that only a Scotsman can share were the cherry on the top!
Thanks so much for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed your tour with us and we hope to see you again in our home in the Highlands one day. I will let Johnny know of your review. Take Care. Tony & Johnny
This is a small group tour which we like. Tony the tour guide was very engaging and knowledgeable. He took special effort to get us out ahead if the large tour busses from the cruise ships. This was especially notable at Culloden Battlefiled, the Cairns, and Crawdor Castle... we were there at the head of the line. At Crawdor Castle, we just beat several large tour busses and were able to tour the castle and gardens nearly by ourselves. I very highly recommend this tour...do yourself a favor and book Tony or his dad ...
Thanks so much for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed your tour with us. Wishing you safe travels and enjoy the rest of your time in Scotland. Tony
Great tour with Johnny! He was very knowledgeable about the history and background of all the tour sites and was friendly and easy to talk to. He knew tricks to get us to the best spots and was very helpful at the end of the tour getting us to our next activity. Highly recommend!

What an afternoon with Tony! My mom and I are traveling in Scotland together and have limited time in Inverness. My time was made more limited by delayed and missed flights! When I let Tony know that my mom may be doing the trip solo, he immediately reached out to me to try and troubleshoot. We came up with a great plan that ended up including me for about 90% of the tour and literal door to door service at the airport and our hotel at the end. He is incredibly knowledgeable and loves his land, making the excitement grow as the tour goes on. He really puts special Highlander touches throughout and I couldn’t have been more pleased with this experience. It’s a very special business that works to make everything as great as it can be, even if the airlines let you down! Tony really has something special in his business, and when we return to the highlands for a longer time, we will be reaching out to him for a tour!
Hi Gracie, thanks so much for your kind words. I'm happy I could show you and your mum a little taste of the highlands with your short time. You are always welcome back and hope you guys enjoy your time in Edinburgh. Safe travels to you both. Tony
