Brendan was entertaining and well informed. He was an excellent host who made us feel comfortable and welcome. Fabulous variety of foods and beverages to taste.
It was very personalised, informative and interesting. Felt like we were out with a friend. And the food was amazing.
We had a wonderful time Brendan was great very informative and we enjoyed ourselves. Markets were very colourful. Excellent tour thanks Matilda and Liz
Absolute must tour, especially if you’ve got a 48 hour stop off in Barcelona and want to see the sites, get off the beaten track and see Barcelona from a unique and refreshing perspective. Brendan’s knowledge was perfect for us. We like culture and history, but we liked his humour and the delivery as much as the content. Some fantastic quirky facts you wouldn’t get from a book. Brendan is well travelled speaks multiple languages and his story is as interesting as Barcelona itself. He made us feel so welcome in the city he has adopted as home and the places we visited were ‘real’ Barcelona. The time together flew by which is credit to his great ability to keep it lively, interesting and authentic. Thanks so much Brendan.
You won’t be disappointed with this fun interactive and informative tour. Learn more of local foods, where foods are sourced and served. And yummy!!!
Our few days in Barcelona were made even better by an inside tour with Brendan. The tourist market is easy to find and it is lovely, but the local food markets and back street cafe’s Brendan took us to stood out. Each stop included a bit of history, great surroundings populated by locals and fantastic local Spanish food. The people behind the carefully curated stops were interesting to meet and provided a true taste of Barcelona. We thoroughly enjoyed the stories, the food and personalized tour away from the main tourist sites. Those market garbanzo beans made with love, the olives, cheese, meats were all amazing.
Hi Gail, thank you very much for the lovely review, I am happy to hear that you and Brian enjoyed the market tours, the churros with chocolate at Picasso's favourite spot, and the grand finale at the legendary tapas bar serving incredible food known mostly to locals. I hope you enjoy the rest of your adventures in Europe and that we can meet again. Best of luck!
The Barcelona Market Magic tour was the highlight of my visit to the city. Brendan is a knowledgeable and insightful guide who really knows how to bring to life some of the hidden gems of Catalan gastronomy, easily weaving city history, with cultural and culinary background, into his commentary. The highlight of the tour for me was the stunning finale at Pinotxos in the Sant Antoni market where the food was truly top notch. This tour really is one not to be missed.
Hi Chris, thanks for your kind review, I am happy to hear that our food adventure was the highlight of your trip to Barcelona. I hope to meet you and the family once you are back here, best of luck.
This culinary tour was a delightful odyssey that transcended the ordinary. I absolutely recommend this tour to anyone seeking a culinary adventure that goes beyond the plate. Such a memorable experience!
