This experience was amazing , full of fun, engaging with the tour guide who was fantastic, learned a lot, saw more than expected and I highly recommend this excursion if you want to learn about the History of Hip Hop. It was amazing to ride through the Bronx & Harlem seeing all the historical spots . Getting on & off the bus to get a first hand experiences was a great surprise & walking around & standing where famous performers once stood & performed was awesome . I could go on & on about this experience but to put it in a brief sentence, it’s totally worth taking this excursion, wear comfortable shoes & your sun glasses & enjoy the ride. I’d take this excursion again just to absorb the hip hop culture & see & experience Harlem along with riding thru the Bronx. This is a winner & if you are reading this put this excursion on your list .
Listen, a hiphop education was learned on this trip. Razor is an amazing tour guide and was so knowledgeable about the history of hiphop. Enjoyed rolling through Harlem, Spanish Harlem, The Bronx, the Apollo Theater, Ruckers Park, 106th & Park, and all the other historic places. This is a MUST DO tour if you are ever in NY.
The tour was exciting, entertaining, and very interesting. The guide was perfect. I would repeat this tour anytime and can only recommend it to everyone!
This tour was one of the best tours I've ever been on. It was informative and the tour guide, Mike C was very knowledgeable and passionate about hip hop. He really made it fun!! I highly recommend this tour!!
The Mighty Mike C was great fun, interesting, and informative. The four hours never dragged, it was fun throughout. It was more our (grown) kids that were the hip hop fans, but my wife and I had tons of fun. We got to see music holy ground and tour parts of the city we likely would never see. Very safe and fun day. Highly recommended!
Excellent tour. Rayza was the host which got everyone hyped. Took us to all the spots which we felt safe. Even had a little dance lesson. It's an interactive tour. We saw lots of artist memorials and movie scene spots. Definitely worth the money. Also props to the driver not just a driver but had good knowledge.
An amazing pilgrimage for me having been a lifelong fan of hip hop culture.
This tour was beyond INSANE! Me, my husband and my mum were visiting NYC from the UK. My near 70-year old mum decided she wanted to check out the Bronx/Harlem, not quite sure she knew what she was letting herself in for. The irony was this tour was made for me, I was in my absolute element. We were incredibly lucky enough to be hosted by the amazing Rayza and John. The trip from start to finish was packed with history and musical memories rap highlights from living legends to those who unfortunately have passed way too early. Dancing in the middle of a basketball court in the middle of Harlem in front of a bunch of strangers was something I never expected but loved. You will not see picture perfect Graffiti than on this tour... it is artwork at it's best. We all loved the tour and meeting all the people on our bus. Rayza was the most fire guide ever, his love, passion, rapping, friendliness, knowledge was everything. The community are lucky to have him. This tour was the most unexpected, knowlegable, fun, happy, tour I think I've ever been on. I've been fortunate enough to go on lots of tours around the world and this is one of a kind. For anyone curious, wanting to get an insight into the culture, life and people of Harlem and the Bronx in a safe and fun environment then this tour is a MUST... GO!!! 11th August 1973... forever! Thank you Rayza and John, big love from London xxx :-)
It was a great tour. The tour guide (Razor) kept us entertained and very informed about NY. I would definitely recommend this tour to others. Also, the driver John was great and we felt safe in his care.
If you love hip hop and the culture, this is a must! From early beginnings in 1973 to current artists, they explore it all showing where the artists lived and how they were inspired to rise. Also includes Apollo Theater, Graffiti Hall of Fame and, especially for me, Rucker Park! Rayza was a great host who kept the energy high the whole time with his mix of hits from 5 decades to his freestyle on the mic. OG John is clearly a legend and knows all the people and places where hip hop began, evolved and thrived. Check this one out.. Really worth your time.
