Very informative and fun. Food was so delicious and guide was great, very knowledgeable and group size wasn’t too big.
The food is delicious and the history is rich. This was my 3rd time on this tour. There were only 3 stops this time, but the food was outstanding at each stop. The walk between restaurants was quite long, it would have been nice to have smaller stops in between, even if just for some local history or chat about the architecture. Our guide, Christian, was very knowledgeable and fun, but the group size (14) was probably too big. Overall I recommend this tour, but adding another stop and getting restaurants a little closer together would be nice. Maybe adding a soul food stop as part of the tour could expand on the neighborhood's history and add some variety.
Delicious food. Knowledgeable, friendly guide. Broad range of topics. Great value. Good variety of restaurants (3)
We went to U Street to have Ethiopian food. Breakfast, lunch, and dessert options were available. It was delicious.
We had a great time on our Little Ethiopia tour. Our guide, Suzanne, was very knowledgeable, and the food was great. I would highly recommend this tour!
Chris was very knowledgeable, not just about Ethiopia and its food, but so many other cuisines and locations as well. The food was delicious and very plentiful. Highly recommend this tour!
Chris was a superb guide. He has a wealth of information about Ethiopian cuisine and DC. Even though I was familiar with Ethiopian food, I learned a lot from this tour. And, I found some new Ethiopian restaurants that I will definitely return to for dinner. This is this tour I've taken from DC Metro Food Tours and I highly recommend them.
Chris, a long-term DC resident, was a great guide, knowledgeable not only about Ethiopian food and culture but also about DC and wider US history. My husband and I were part of a small group of 6 people. We visited three restaurants and tasted a variety of different dishes over a period of just over 3 hours. We had a good time sampling the food, learning about it and having interesting generalconversations with the other members of the group. It felt well-paced, and we had a very pleasant morning.
