The town´s full history. Since the Roman times, the west most important harbor of Europe. The Arabs followed, before the foundation of Portugal. The 15th century will provide it with the greatest international hub for worldwide commerce… until the aftermath of the devastation caused by the biggest earthquake ever. Being almost entirely rebuilt from scratch by enlightenment the reward was retirement that will come in the 19th century. In the 20th the world forgets about it. And in the 21st here you are to participate on the restarting of process of its international legacy, leading it to the future. Here was once the Port of the Grail. CASCAIS An early seaside destination for Portuguese elite emerging from a fisherman’s village, just like so till the end of the 1800´s. From the 1930s on the unexpected happened as international royals and exiles dramatically changed Cascais, transforming it into Portugal´s Riviera.

We had great time touring Lisbon and Sintra with Nuno who host professional Local guide service in Portugal. I connected with him through Facebook travel group. He offered a help while I am in city. It is my first time visiting Portugal with a short time staying in Lisbon. Nuno sent me all the tours information prior the trip. He answered many questions before I made decision. He is very honest, very knowledgeable, very professional. He provided great services while I was in Portugal. We ending up had two full days tour with him. At the day arrival, he picked us at airport to our hotel and waited until we checked in, then toured Lisbon for rest of the day for us. The 2nd day, he took us to Sintra where his home town located.
