Pedro was an amazing guide!!! He took us on a tantalizing tour that not only taught us some history of this beautiful city, but we also enjoyed some local hidden culinary gems! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. Pedro you are the best!!
This should have been so much better, although glad we booked and would use Local People again. We met our guide, who was very knowledgable and interesting. He probably spent more time with us than was booked and took us to a couple of unusual places that we were unlikely to have found on our own, but with extremely modest food and a couple of drinks. When considering the evening we were expecting more than these two stop-offs for the price we paid. At £73 per-head we did not feel we got value for money.

I did the 10 tastings and everything was delicious. I even tried codfish for the very first time. At first I thought it was going to be a problem because the host, Peter, was not at our meeting point. After speaking with Peter, he mentioned that I was not on the schedule even though I had received a confirmation. However, Peter was able to run the tour regardless. He is very knowledgeable about the history of Lisbon and took us to some great places to eat and drink. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Lisbon. If you want to experience authentic local food while learning about the city's rich history, this is an experience you won't want to miss.
Angelo was excellent!!! We truly appreciated his passion for and knowledge of Portugal history and culture! My teenage boys who are not easily impressed said he was Amazing and the best tour guide they ever had! We travel a lot so this is not based on a small sample!!! If you want someone who truly cares about the local culture and knows their history, book Angelo!
An excellent evening with Padro. Our family of 5 met (kids 17, 13, and 13) had no problem meeting up with him. He was funny, knowledgeable and knew amazing spots for our 6 food stops. One of us was allergic to shellfish and we had a picky kid however this did not hinder the experience! This was our first day in Lisbon and was a great way to start our trip!
This was a great activity to visit local restaurants and sample authentic Portuguese food. Our guide, Andy was fantastic and shared history of the various dishes and Portugal! I would highly recommend this tour.
Great food stops that we would have never found on our own. The tour guide was helpful and went above and beyond just a food tour of the city. Would recommend the 10 item choice. The Clams were my favorite.

Elisa was an amazing guide for our 6 tastings foodie tour! She reached out to me several days ahead of time to introduce herself and to make a specific meeting plan. She was very personable and likable, and knowledgeable about the foods and beverages we tasted during the tour. She also added so much to the tour by giving us some history and background of the area as we walked to the different restaurants. And, importantly, the foods were so delicious! I would recommend Elisa and this tour to anyone visiting Lisbon!

We started with the hidden gems tour and were so impressed that we immediately booked a food tasting tour as well. His wealth is knowledge about Lisbjns’s history is truly remarkable, but what makes him exceptional is the way he brings that history to life. His love for Portugal shines through every story he shares, and he has a unique gift for presenting information in a way that is engaging and easy to follow.
