Richard Serra estabeleceu uma nova arte em pé de ferro plano com cerca de 15m (49 pés) de altura que foi revelada no deserto do Catar. The Artist, de Richard Serra, criado para o Catar pelo renomado artista americano Richard Serra's, é chamado de "East-West / West-East" e está localizado a cerca de 60 km de Doha, na Reserva Natural de Brouq, perto de Zekreet. Zekreet fort Qatar A paisagem da península de Zekreet tem uma geologia única e fascinante. Salinas, rochas e planaltos desérticos abertos dominam este cenário. Não há dunas de areia aqui, estranhas formações rochosas e excelentes vistas sobre as águas azuis do golfo. A escarpa de calcário Bir-Zekreet é um deserto branqueado, o tempestuoso tem rochas sedutoras, revelando pilares, grandes cogumelos de calcário e formas estranhas à medida que se projeta de penhascos. A praia está localizada no coração da cidade e fica perto da praia. As rochas da praia com curvas naturais nos dão um conceito de talha meticulosa feita por algum grande artista. Visita à Muralha dos Olhos no final do passeio.

Muhammad was an outstanding guide for the East–West / West–East tour. We visited the mushroom rocks, film city and many more. He was extremely patient, thoughtful, and very knowledgeable, not just about the artwork but also the surrounding landscape and its significance.
