Uma maneira única de obter uma compreensão profunda de algumas das tribos culturais sul-africanas em um local, situado nas dobras da montanha Phelindaba, no lado noroeste de Gauteng. Duas sessões são realizadas diariamente 365 dias por ano, então qualquer dia é um bom dia para visitar a vila cultural Lesedi. Nosso transporte para a Aldeia Cultural Lesedi será seu grupo em particular. O passeio é realizado em pequenos grupos com outros visitantes atribuídos a um guia dedicado ao local.

À chegada, os hóspedes são recebidos com música e dança pelos vibrantes jovens dançarinos tradicionais. Um curta-metragem de 10 minutos é visto para dar um resumo claro de como os colonizadores invasores afetaram as diferentes tribos que existiam nas diferentes partes da África Austral. Os hóspedes são escoltados pelas diferentes aldeias da tribo enquanto os guias do local realizam apresentações detalhadas sobre a história e o modo de vida de cada tribo. Cantar e dançar no teatro por 30min pelas diferentes tribos é uma das melhores partes da experiência. Você pode cantar junto e aprender alguns movimentos de dança das várias tribos e o simbolismo associado às ocasiões específicas em que certas músicas são cantadas. O Buffet de Culinária Africana é o clímax do passeio com todo o aroma de dar água na boca do Boma Dining Room. Ensopado de Borrego ou Bovino, Rosbife, Rabo de Crocodilo, Pescoço de Avestruz, Salsicha Bovina, Frango Grelhado e uma variedade de amidos, legumes e sobremesas à escolha. Obs: As bebidas são vendidas separadamente.

We were not given clear instructions for pick up when we purchased tickets, which caused us to be a half an hour late to the village for the presentation. It was also raining and they did not have a way to deal with that problem and give us the tour that we paid for. Dinner was adequate, but nothing special.
Thank you, Jeanne, for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your visit to the Lesedi Cultural Village experience. When booking your tour, your accommodation details provided by you were used as your designated pick-up location. Unfortunately, you were not at the arranged address at the scheduled collection time, and our guide made an additional trip into the city to collect you from your updated location after contacting you directly. As explained during the transfer, this unexpected detour contributed to the late arrival at the venue. The heavy rainfall on the evening was beyond anyone’s control. Due to the weather conditions the Lesedi team adapted the program by hosting portions of the cultural presentation indoors for the comfort and safety of guests. This was communicated on arrival. Once the rain eased, you were still able to enjoy a customised guided walkthrough of all the cultural villages after you ate the African Boma buffet dinner experience. The buffet is designed to showcase traditional local flavours and regional cuisine, including game meats such as crocodile and antelope alongside more familiar options like beef stew, chicken, fish, and other African-inspired dishes. The intention of the experience is to provide guests with an authentic cultural and culinary introduction reflective of local traditions and rural hospitality. We are genuinely sorry to hear that the overall experience did not fully meet your expectations. We do, however, appreciate your feedback as it helps both ourselves and the venue continue improving the guest experience for future visitors. We also thank you for further reaching out to us for additional tours after you had already submitted this review.

The Lesedi Cultural Village was a great experience. Very informative, fun drumming lesson, great tour guide, fantastic dancing and singing, and a great buffet. Nice selection in the gift shops too. There were a lot of other people at the village, but it was well organized with reasonable sized groups. We chose the private pick up option through Explore Joburg. Jacob was great. Good conversation on the way to and from, prompt pickup and a comfortable ride. Jacob also waited there and helped us while at the village. I highly recommend the tour and this company in particular.
