We love this places, this is the second time that we have been in there and we always have a wonderful day. The only thing that we don't like is that they close early.
I will preface this by saying I'm not really a Lego person. I took my cousins here for the day - they were in 5th grade at the time. I feel like 5th grade is borderline too old for Legoland. This park is geared towards the younger crowd - I'd say K-5, again with 5th grade being almost too old. Lots of the food places were closed during the visit. And some of the ride operators moved at a snails pace, unfortunately. There was one ride that would take 20minutes to load everyone on. My cousins loved the water boat ride in the back of the park, but overall they were bored. They waited 40minutes to ride the dragon coaster that lasted less than a minute. It was a fun day out, but the park feels unfinished to me? I don't know, I was expecting more. All in all, it's worth checking out for a day. Not my thing, but I'm an adult and it was nice to see my cousins have some fun here and there.
We had a great time at the hotel and park. Everyone at the hotel and park were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the themed room as well as the app. The app allowed us to look at wait times for rides, which we used the entire time we were in the park. More signs for hotel parking would be helpful as we didn't see hotel parking signs, they are further down than the amusement park parking signs. Price for parking per night while staying at the hotel was a bit steep after paying for the hotel room and park passes, parking should be included in that price. Overall we had a great time and would recommend friends or family to visit.
Experience is great. Must visit for kids from 7 to 12. We highly liked the lolly, sundaes, pretzel & food as their taste is AMAZING. The quality of ingredients is top notch, we can feel the texture, taste, low sugars which is rare to see in these kind of theme parks. Few more thrill rides could have been added.
Theme park was entertaining and exciting to share with whole family. Refillable cup is very much worth the price offered. Extra fun with the build challenge offered at the various locations throughout the park. Wait times got unbearable mid day. Parking was accommodating and accessible to offer us a break at lunch away from the park.
Save your money and go to a state fair instead, where there are a lot more attractions and less wait time. Most rides had an hour plus wait time.
I went with my 6 kids ages 6-13...some love Lego, some are impartial to Lego. And I did not get 1 complaint that anyone was bored the entire time!! They all had an amazing time and were thanking us for bringing them there by the end of the day. I wish they had longer hours though. They closed at 5pm, and my kids were disappointed that we couldn't finish the challenges because there just wasn't enough time to do the rides and all the challenges.
There is a lot to do. The water playground was unexpected. The sign said you had to register kids, but made no mention of the $8 per hour per child fee on the sign. The food was very expensive and not the quality it should have been for the price. The staff was nice and professional. It was a great day!
PLEASE DO NOT GO TO LEGOLAND This place has completely fallen apart in the last 2-3 years. I used to love coming here with my children but sadly I will never go again. We went for 2 days and the first warning sign was at the driving school where they no longer give out paper card licenses to the children. Small thing, no big deal. but it was noted. Then we go to the coast guard academy to drive the boats and I was told that I couldn’t drive my own boat b/c they prefer to keep people in groups to keep the line moving. Every paying customer should have the right to have the full experience of a ride. That shouldn’t even be a conversation. And to add insult to injury, that day was gray and rainy and there were literally 20 people behind us. The dragon rollercoaster was broken for over 3 hours. Then when it was up and running, they didn’t allow you to wait for the first car (something all theme parks always allow) The ninja kitchen ninja kiosk had a broken computer and they couldn’t take orders. The app doesn’t work unless you refresh it constantly. It tells you that “wait times are not available” and / or that you can only view live wait times when “you are at lego land”. Even though you’re there. This makes it nearly impossible to plan your day accordingly. But the worst part, and the reason I’m ultimately writing this review is the waterpark. They only allow you to go in for 20 minutes otherwise you have to book ahead and pay per person for a total of 50 minutes. Scam, but ok. I tried to book the water park on July 30 for July 31 - but it didn’t allow me to. So at 7:30am on July 31, I went to book the waterpark for 1pm ideally but only 3pm was available. More eye rolls, but ok. The final straw is when we show up to finally have our 50 minutes of glory - we were told that they closed it and didn’t know when or if it would re-open that day and that was the final straw. Add another $40 per day to park as well. Never. Again.
Very good experience with my kids
