This tour was very disappointing. First, we had a very hard time finding the correct dock. The team gave instructions which said to go to dock F, taking a right from where the ferry dropped us.These instructions seemed clear enough, however, however, there was no mention that there are actually two dock ‘F’s. We initially went to the right as instructed, but we saw the letters B then A and assumed we were going the wrong way. It was our first time to Cabo, and wasted a lot of time figuring out we were at the wrong dock. When a kind man finally directed us in the right direction, we realized that even running we are going to be about five minutes late for our tour. We called to let the team know we were just about there, will need to be told that if we didn’t make it by five after the hour they would leave without us. Very shocking that they couldn’t wait another couple of minutes when there were only 10 of us on this tour! The team of three running this tour were very average and did nothing to make us feel excited about the experience. They never introduced themselves or asked our names. We had to initiate any time we wanted a drink. They just seemed kind of lazy and unenthusiastic. The way they handled our snorkeling stop was terrible. They did not give any guidance on how to use the equipment and not one of entered the water with us. They just told us where to go and that we would be there for 45 minutes. The area was total chaos around Pelican Rock. Lots of boats and snorkelers. We saw other people snorkeling in other areas, but our crew stayed put in the same spot for the entire 45 minutes and did not let us snorkel anywhere other than inside the buoy around pelican rock. There were actually a lot of jellyfish in the water around pelican rock and we told the crew about it, but they did not seem to care. It was a totally lame snorkeling experience! The rest of the tour was spent boating around the area of these same rocks. We did see the arch, a cove and some beaches. But it was a long and pretty boring experience. The boat only had a small area of shade and the people who got their first stayed there the entire time. So we were out in the direct sun for the full tour and only had the one snorkeling opportunity to enter the water. I would not recommend this tour, especially for the $120 price point.
This tour wasn’t nearly as great as others I’ve experienced; very disappointing, in fact. It was our first time to Cabo, and we had difficulty finding the pier/slip/meeting place for the tour. We called after getting lost and were told that the team was going to leave us if we weren’t there in three minutes. We ran and made it, but that was a poor start to the day. They just weren’t great with their directions, and weren’t at all helpful when we indicated we were lost. On the boat, our crew didn’t introduce themselves and didn’t ask our names. There was very little interaction with the crew at all. At our snorkeling spot, we were given fins and masks, but weren’t asked if we needed help with them. Fortunately, my friend and I are experienced snorkelers, so we were fine on that front. But among the guides, not one of them joined us in the water. The one told us that he “doesn’t get paid enough” for that. We were then told to swim over to a string of buoys, but we weren’t supposed to put our masks on to do so, which was very confusing. The area was total chaos around Pelican Rock, but while other groups were snorkeling in many different areas, we were told to stay in that one limited spot. The water was murky. We saw a few fish, but mostly proceeded to get stung by tiny jellyfish. Not dangerous, but definitely not the best experience, and we weren’t warned about that. Without knowing where else to actually go and having no guide to help us, we returned to the boat. The provided lunch and drinks were very good, but the service was poor. We weren’t offered drink refills and had to ask for waters. The remainder of the tour we just bobbed around Lands End and the surrounding area. The boat also had minimal shade, which made it difficult for a multi-hour tour and dealing with the sun and the heat. Again, we were on vacation and a day on the water is always a good time, but this tour definitely did nothing to enhance our experience. Sadly, I wouldn’t go with them again.
It was so great, although everyone else canceled they continued our trip! It was awesome. Cabo and the people are the best.
The sailing was so nice and the crew were kind and attentive. They served drinks, a snack and a sandwich. There was plenty of space on the boat even with multiple groups on board.
What a fabulous experience! Gary and his crew were fun, friendly, attentive, and safe. The food and beverages were great! We enjoyed the snorkeling and relaxed during the sailing portion of the trip. We loved the small group aspect of the tour. No crowds and individualized attention. I’d definitely recommend this excursion!
The whole experience from stepping on the boat, snorkeling, getting close to the arch and sailing for a long time was terrific. This was a definite highlight of our time in Cabo!
Our snorkeling and ocean tour around El Arco in Cabo San Lucas was one of the highlights of our trip to Mexico. The views were incredible from the moment we left the marina. Seeing El Arco up close was even more impressive in person, especially with the waves crashing against the cliffs. The snorkeling itself was fantastic. The water was surprisingly clear, and we saw tons of colorful fish, and even a few rays. The crew made the experience easy and enjoyable by providing all the gear, clear instructions, and plenty of time in the water without feeling rushed. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and kept the atmosphere fun the entire trip. One of the best parts was simply being out on the ocean with the beautiful Cabo coastline surrounding us. The boat ride was smooth, the scenery was stunning, and the lunch/drinks were great! Whether you’re an experienced snorkeler or trying it for the first time, this tour is absolutely worth doing while in Cabo San Lucas. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a mix of sightseeing, wildlife, and fun on the water.
This was a great experience for our whole group. The crew was very nice and knowledgeable about the area. The boat drinks were great and the guacamole was a perfect addition to the lunch. We would definitely suggest this tour company to anyone looking for a fun time on the water.
Cesar, Richard, and Osvaldo were a great crew! My group of 11 friends had so much fun and felt safe the whole time. The drinks were flowing and snacks came out at just the right time. The guys were also really knowledgeable about the area and professional.
It was fine - we were unable to snorkel because of jellyfish in the area. No whale sightings either, nor were they actively looking. Basically a 3 hour boat trip - also, very little shade on this boat. Drinks were abundant !
