Esta é uma parada sazonal. Aberto de 15 de maio a 15 de outubro. Esta é uma linda praia de areia branca. Ótimo local para nadar no Lago Tahoe e um pequeno resort maravilhoso com cabanas e casas para alugar, bem como camping para trailers e barracas de camping. Há um armazém aqui e bons banheiros.
Estacionamos no Centro de Visitantes de Tahoe City e caminhamos até a Ponte Fanny. Abaixo da barragem de Tahoe City podemos ver alguns incrivelmente grandes e belos Arco-íris e Trout Brown. Aqui é onde o rio Truckee sai do Lago Tahoe. A barragem tem apenas 6 pés de altura e não está lá para segurar a água, mas para ajudá-la a sair.
Esta é uma parada maravilhosa no famoso Restaurante e Bar Gar Wood's. Tome um banho de madeira molhado e caminhe no cais. Ótimas fotografias mostram como a água realmente é clara. Around Tahoe Tours faz uma parada no lugar mais bonito do Lago Tahoe. Parque Estadual de Sand Harbor, Nevada. Lar de enormes pedras cercadas por todas as cores de azul. Parece tropical em certas épocas. Ótimo lugar para nadar com muita história e provavelmente nossa melhor parada. Saia, estique as pernas e tire muitas fotos. Você não vai querer sair.
Perto de Tahoe para na Logan Shoals Vista Trail, pois este é o melhor lugar para ver Cave Rock. Cave Rock é o local sagrado mais famoso do Lago Tahoe. Lar dos espíritos dos índios Paiute e Washoe. Cave Rock não é uma rocha, é um tronco vulcânico que sobrou de muito tempo atrás.

Our tour guide, Van, made the tour memorable and fun! The small group tour was informative, and we saw many sights that we would not have found on our own. Having grown up on Lake Tahoe, Van showed us many special spots and vantage points that only a native would know about. My husband was particularly excited to see the boathouse from Godfather II and the Ponderosa from Bonanza. Another highlight was seeing Cal Neva and the dude trip to Sierra Boat Company to see a one-of-a-kind Jaguar boat! We highly recommend this intimate, personalized tour of the lake.

Our tour guide and driver was very courteous and kept us up to date on his arrival time as this did change. He was very informative and gave us lots of history and legends in the area. It was a pleasurable tour.
The experience was more than amazing! The views were great and we visited many beautiful spots! The lunch was super yummy and our tour guide Mark was funny, factual, and very kind! I would definitely recommend this tour!

He took us to all the beautiful viewpoints, shared interesting history and local stories, and made sure everyone had enough time for photos and sightseeing. The 4 stops we made along the tour were excellent. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. To me adding a stop in Incline village would have been better than driving through neighborhoods along the eastern lake. The homes along the lake were behind trees and fences were hard to see.
Driver/Guide, Mark, was very knowledgeable, helpful, and entertaining. It was a great introduction to Lake Tahoe!

You never know what you might see. We saw a bear. Tour was very interesting and informative. Having a small group was nice.
Mark (our guide) picked us up on time, but what I liked is that from the night before he answered all my texts cuz i had some questions and then he kept in touch until the we saw him, he said he was reliable and he was! The van has long seats and it's only two people per seats, so we had plenty of space for each person and the windows are big so we could see everything outside. Mark made this trip so worth it! I liked his timing, made us feel relaxed but we had enough time to see so many beautiful places all around the lake, main view points! He was always very attentive, lively, approachable and entertaining, I'm thinking to come back with my family and reserve a private tour with him with more of lake tahoe's view points, he said we can choose all the stops, since its a huge lake, there's so much more to see but some roads I rather let an expert to drive cuz they could be intimidating with no guardrails. I'm so happy I did this! Thank you Mark, you fulfilled my expectations! 😊
