We had a great time fishing for 4 hours with family. The captain, Mark, was great, extremely informative, and helpful. He helped us to catch walleye. We took my little grandson, and they were very considerate regarding his needs. 5 stars, this trip made our visit to Lake Erie. Well done; it was really special.

There was a storm coming in but the captain said it was OK to go out. There were 5' to 6' waves on the lake and we were on a small bass boat. We were the ONLY ones on the lake when we set out. The captain turned back and decided to bass fish in the bay. He quoted us a reduced rate since we were not walleye fishing. Ended the day catching a few nice bass. The captain did know where to fish. But, come time for the refund and the captain's manager refused to give us a refund. Need to watch out for this group. We had to back the boat into the water since there was no one else available. Also, we had to ask where the life jackets were stored. Not much on safety training. Not very impressed with this group.
Thank you for your feedback. We apologize for the challenging experience you had. Safety is our priority, and we always give the option to the customer to not go out, which you still wanted too. In the end safety is on us and that's why the captain returned to the bay for safety, giving you the option to go in or fish the bay which you still wanted. We are coast guard approved and have all safety gear including life vest, yes we do have to store them away but as you seen they are always very accessible quickly. We’ll address these concerns and review our procedures to prevent future occurrences. In the end, mother nature just provided you with a very bad day for fishing and why as a experience provider we would always be happy to compensate you on days like these with a partial refund. But, we cannot because you booked through a 3rd party and they control your money and there policies don't allow it. That's why booking direct is always best. We appreciate your input and regret that we didn’t meet your expectations this time!
My brother, his son and grandson, and I booked with Capt. Vince of Old Timer Charters who had to last-minute substitute God's Grace Sport Fishing. Capts, Vince & Lane were phenomenal. The lake had mixed due to winds and they found THE honey hole where we boated 16 x 18-23" walleye. 32 gorgeous and tasty filets! These guys were fun, involved, and proved that they know how to fish.

From start to finish Captain Tom Goodrich was amazing! Great communication when and where to meet, everything was ready when we arrived and we hit the lake. A short 30 min cruise to the fishing grounds and we were on the fish. Captain Tom prepared the lines and we were pulling them in as fast as he was putting them out. Our group of 4 took home 21 Walleye and threw back at least 3x that many which were under sized. Tons of action on the this trip. Absolutely no down time for our 6 hour charter Captain Tom has plenty of water aboard, if you want to bring something to eat or something else to drink you can. Bring sunscreen, sun protection clothing, CAMERA, don’t forget your fishing license with the Lake Erie stamp and be ready for a great day of smiles and fun. Captain Tom worked his @ss off preparing and baiting lines (worms), shared his boating and fishing knowledge and made sure we got our catch filleted at a local shop. Highly recommend this charter with Captain Tom if Lake Erie Walleye fishing is on your radar!!!

Our guide made the most of choppy water and gave us an amazing experience. One of my guests is an avid fisherman and never expects much from guides. He said of the thousands of times he has fished all waters, this was a top 3 experience for sure. That is the best review you can get. An awesome tour guide that is an even better man.
