Este belo e pitoresco lago público de 22 milhas, conhecido por suas águas claras e de nível constante, possui casas particulares à beira-mar e falésias, vários restaurantes à beira-mar, é o lar dos surfistas campeões mundiais Ashley Kidd e Raleigh Hager e apenas a 20 minutos de carro do centro Austin.
Esta ponte em arco de aço construída em 1982 é um marco icônico de Austin. Abrangendo a distância do Lago Austin (1.150 pés de comprimento), conecta as seções Norte e Sul da Capital da Rodovia do Texas. O desenho arqueado da ponte foi criado para evitar ter colunas de apoio que, de outra forma, interfeririam nos esquiadores de água, acordar surfistas e velejadores nas 22 milhas de água abaixo.
Este clube de golfe privado está localizado nas margens do Lago Austin. Possui um desafiador campo de 18 buracos e organiza torneios, incluindo o popular WGC Dell Match Play. Foi projetado pelo arquiteto Pete Dye e abriga a lenda do golfe Harvey Penick.

Esta villa em estilo italiano à beira do lago, construída em 1916, foi a casa de Clara Driscoll, uma filantropa que foi fundamental na preservação do Álamo. Hoje, o local de 14 acres abriga o The Contemporary Austin e é composto por um parque de esculturas ao ar livre, o museu de arte Laguna Gloria e uma escola de arte.
Esta barragem, batizada em homenagem a um ex-prefeito de Austin, começou a operar em 1940. Foi construída com a finalidade de controle de inundação e geração de energia hidrelétrica. Em seu lado a montante está o Lago Austin e, a jusante, o Lago Lady Bird. Ambos os reservatórios são resultado da construção da barragem.

A comfortable cruise with captain Ronaldo. We made a stop for the bathroom and grabbed a drink. I enjoyed seeing all the beautiful homes. It was a 25 minute uber ride from downtown Austin and I also enjoyed seeing the scenery on the way.

Spencer was an amazing tour guide. He gave us history but he was also personable and relaxed. My only complaint was that it was too short lol. I would've paid for another go around!

What a great excursion. We had never been on the Lake before, and Marco our captain made us feel right at home. Very knowledgeable and conversational guy.
