Perfect pace, we could do things on our own. Gabriel was knowledgeable and gave us great pointers for the areas of interest we stopped at!

There isnt much in the town square just some shops and a couple of places to eat, went to the Marina but buildings looked a bit sad not as expected seeing them on tv. Did the day trip round the Algarve which was interesting. Loved my hotel VidaMar and going back in September has great food, gardens and beach

My 70yo parents and I went on a tour to Lagos with Gabriel and had an amazing time! We enjoyed beautiful views of the Southern coast and spent a few hours in old town. On our way back, Gabriel also took us on a pit stop to see more rock formations. The half day tour was perfect for us. Highly recommend!

My mum and I had the most fantastic trip! We saw all the beautiful sights along the coast and Gabriel was so informative and such a wonderful guide! The tour operator arrived at meeting place and picked up two people without checking who they were. After driving for 40 minutes he received a call from a couple who were still waiting to be picked up, turned out he picked up the wrong people. From then on we endured over 2 hours of anxiety, he was driving dangerously while on a phone, trying to fix this situation for all the other participants. Eventually dropped us off in Lagos, where we had to wait for 1.5 hours. Instructed us to go see the city on our own, but we did not want to do that and then duplicate the experience once the right participants arrive. We ended up not seeing Lagos at all, the itinerary was modified, was all hectic, the guide was extremely hyper talking all over the place, trying to justify his mistake. At no point, we were apologized to, he promised to buy us a glass of wine or coffee, did not do any of that. The focus was all on the other people that were wronged, we did not matter. Our itinerary was reduced, our time was extended, we did not hear a single word of apology. Somehow we still gave him a small tip. This is absolutely unacceptable, our whole day was ruined, the tour did not follow the itinerary and did not meet expectations. We can’t get our time back, but we can warn others.
I feel compelled to address the unfair and unfounded accusations made about me by this individual. As someone who deeply values my good name and professional reputation, it is both disappointing and troubling to see my character misrepresented in such a harmful manner. I have dedicated myself to earning the trust and respect of customers and colleagues through hard work and integrity. To have that effort undermined by baseless claims is not only hurtful but unjust. My reputation means everything to me, and I will not stand by while it is damaged by falsehoods and prejudice. Fortunately, encounters such as this have been rare, and since then, all of my reviews have been overwhelmingly positive.
Do yourself a favour and book this tour with Gabriel from GL Tours! I’d give it 10 stars if I could. Gabriel was friendly, prompt and very knowledgeable. His passion for his country shone through. He took us to some of the most beautiful viewpoints in all of Portugal and gave us time to explore them at our own pace. We really enjoyed our day.

If I could leave more than 5 stars, I would. Gabriel, our tour guide, was one of the most enthusiastic and down to earth people I have ever met. He genuinely enjoys what he does and it really reflects this through his tour. It was only 4 of us on the tour which really made the tour feel a bit more intimate. He gave us a great recommendation for lunch and just gave us everything we needed to know about these areas. If you are in Albufeira, please don’t miss this opportunity!
