Excellent matcha experience, the guides were really friendly and the matcha tasted soo good.

I recently had the incredible opportunity to grind my own matcha, and it was truly a highlight of my trip. There is something so meditative and satisfying about the slow, rhythmic motion of the stone mill. The aroma of the freshly ground tea leaves filling the room was absolutely divine—so much fresher and more vibrant than anything I’ve ever bought in a store. The experience was amazing! The staff were very knowledgeable and made the experience very fun. The matcha was delicious and I even got to make some extra to take home! It’s a must do when in Kyoto! I cannot recommend it enough!

This was an amazing and authentic experience! I had the chance to grind matcha using a traditional stone mill, which was something I had never done before. It was relaxing, fun, and very interesting to learn about the process. Drinking the matcha that I ground myself made the experience even more special. The staff were kind and explained everything clearly. I highly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Japan and looking for a unique cultural experience!

Yuki showed us how to make matcha powder and tea. It was very nice and interesting. He also gave us free gelato to make a matcha affogato

Fresh tea! This fresh taste is the first time. Turning the stone was a new experience with a sense of meditation. Staff was kind to explain about the tea and it was fun to be with you in the pre-process!
