Itinerário
Depois do museu, chegamos à catedral de Bagrati, com vista para a cidade. Foi construído no século 11 como um símbolo da Geórgia unida.
Depois nos mudamos para o mosteiro Gelati do século XII. Existem 3 grandes igrejas, uma academia, o túmulo de David the Builder, torre sineira e casas de monges no complexo. Foi construído pelo maior rei georgiano David The Builder.
O mosteiro de Motsameta está relacionado à história dos irmãos torturados senhores David e Constantine Mkheidze. É construído no penhasco e é cercado pelo rio de três lados. A natureza e as cores ao redor do mosteiro são incríveis.
Excursão a pé no centro da cidade de Kutaisi
Primeiro, dirigimos para Tskaltubo e visitamos a Primavera #6, onde a Guia conta sobre a ocupação soviética. Depois caminhamos até a Primavera #8 que tem a arquitetura mais incomum entre as fontes de Tskaltubo. O próximo lugar é Primavera #5. A próxima parada é o Sanatorium Gelati, construído especialmente para crianças e há um parque de jogos antigo e um belo ponto de vista sobre a construção interna. Depois de "Gelati" caminhamos para o sanatório "Medea", seguindo com "Druzhba". A última sequência do passeio é a estação de trem de Tskaltubo.
A última atividade do passeio é a degustação de vinhos no bar de vinhos local - vinho Amber. Uma vez que chegamos lá o anfitrião - Irakli nos conta sobre os vinhos e outras bebidas em seu bar. A mesa com copos, vinhos e lanches já está preparada para nós. Nós nos sentamos e Irakli começa a contar sobre a história do vinho, cultura e técnicas de fabricação de vinho na Geórgia. Então começamos a provar vinhos um por um e fazer o acoplamento de comida com ele. Uma vez que todos os 4 vinhos terminam terminamos com Chacha que é uma bebida espirituosa georgiana e é feita por uvas ou destilação de vinho. Após a conclusão da experiência os hóspedes podem ficar no bar e continuar a noite com seus vinhos favoritos.

This tour is perfect if you are short on time in Kutaisi as you get to see a bit of everything. The highlight was the winery visit- the food and wine were delicious and I was able to buy some wine. Special shout out to Lasha who was a fantastic guide.
Good tour to discover some highlights in Kutaisi ( the Gelati is closed for the moment for restauration) and a visit to a wineyard ( Baia & family), both our guide Saba and Baia gave us good insights and patiently answered questions. Last but not least: the Georgian spread was amazing!
This tour was fantastic ! We got to learn so much thanks to our guide. The beautiful religious architecture, the history of Gerogia, the interesting spots in Kutaissi, the wine culture... It was very fun and thanks to our guide we felt very safe during the whole time.
We had the best tour guide ever, George! We really enjoyed the informative tour around the city, most especially during the wine and dine tour! George is a certified toast master! We loved the authentic Georgian food and the very warm hospitality of the owners of the vineyard that we have visited. Plus an interaction with Bingo, a very kind and sweet dog. Wonderful experience overall. Lasha ensured that we had a good experience and shared the histories of the cathedrals and story of the family winery. Met the lovelyladies from Lithuania, had good laughs, good toasts and great smiles specially during dining and wine tasting. Amazing.

The trip i took with Budget Georgia is really worth the money. We spent a full day discovering historical cathedrals, got to learn about their culture. Went to the winery and what a lovely people there! The authentic Georgian food amazing!! I highly recommend booking your trips with these guys. They have also transfer services to other cities and their prices are really affordable. My guide was Mariami and she is a pleasant person. We had so much fun, laughs and good memories that i will taking home with me♥️
amazing experience. the guide was very knowledgable and we got to know a lot about georgian history. he explained us the processes of wine-making, which added more value to the experience. the dinner was unforgettable and there were even many vegan options available.
