Sobre o que é este passeio: Esta é uma excursão de dia inteiro de Udaipur às montanhas da cordilheira de Aravalli para ver o impressionante Forte Kumbhalgarh e os templos de Ranakpur. Coisas que veremos: Kumbhalgarh: Construído no topo de uma colina a 1100 metros de altitude, o forte de Kumbhalgarh possui paredes perimetrais que se estendem por 36 quilômetros de comprimento, alegadamente as mais longas do mundo depois da Grande Muralha da China. As paredes frontais têm quinze pés de espessura. Kumbhalgarh tem sete gateways fortificados. Mais de 360 templos estão dentro do forte, 300 antigos jainistas e os demais hindus. A vista do topo do palácio normalmente se estende por dezenas de quilômetros até a Cordilheira Aravalli. Ranakpur: Ranakpur abriga uma coleção de templos jainistas sem igual em sua beleza. O templo de Ranakpur é dedicado a Adinatha, o primeiro Jain Tirthankara (líder espiritual) que conquistou o ciclo de renascimento e alcançou a iluminação.
