O passeio do mexilhão é uma experiência local única, onde você conhecerá nossa rainha, o famoso mexilhão azul do lago Butrint. A viagem começará em um barco tradicional, primeiro parando em fazendas de mexilhões. O processo de cultivo do mexilhão será explicado e levaremos alguns mexilhões frescos diretamente da fazenda, a próxima parada será no restaurante, mas antes de estar lá um pouco de envolvimento no processo de separação. Cada uma de nós usará luvas e começará a separar as Rainhas. Trabalho, navegação e meditação por 15 minutos serão opcionais para cada hóspede. Depois disso, navegue para outra parte do Parque Nacional de Butrint, um restaurante local e idílico, onde serão cozinhados dois tipos de pratos de mexilhão temperados com azeite, limão e salsa acompanhados de vinho branco local, legumes frescos, pão caseiro, e água para cada um completará a mesa. Depois de saborear o sabor da nossa terra e compartilhar histórias maravilhosas, o retorno à vela relaxante será assistindo ao pôr do sol.

Itinerário
Parque Nacional de Butrint. Iniciamos o passeio na entrada da antiga cidade de Butrint, no canal viavari (11h00) em barcos a motor tradicionais com capacidade 8+ 2 (Guia e Capitão). Navegação até viveiros de mexilhões, estrutura de concreto onde cultivamos mexilhões, 10 minutos de navegação. Às 11:10 chegamos aos viveiros de mexilhões, primeira parada aqui, estacionamos o barco e permanecemos no barco desfrutando do processo de cultivo de mexilhão explicado pelo nosso guia local. Fique aqui por cerca de 20 minutos. Durante este tempo vamos usar luvas e começar a trabalhar como fazem os mexileiros, o trabalho e a meditação serão.
Às 11:30 começamos a navegar novamente, desta vez nossa direção será em Kalivoi, casa do "homem rico" na Roma antiga, parte do Parque Nacional de Butrint, um bom restaurante local perto do lago está situado lá. 15 minutos navegando. Às 11h45 pousaremos no restaurante e começaremos a preparar os mexilhões que pegamos nas camas de mexilhões. Aproveitando o almoço com três tipos de pratos de mexilhão, legumes frescos, pão caseiro acompanhado de vinho branco local e água para cada um. No restaurante ficaremos uma hora, às vezes mais.
Às 12h45 navegaremos de volta à entrada de Butrint. Este período é perfeito para vincular esta experiência visitando a antiga cidade de Butrint ao mesmo tempo

Terrible, they canceled on us twice and also just minutes before starting. We organized two days of vacation around this activity and they notify us at the last hour (literally, we returned from a beach 2 hours away for this activity and they notify us when we are at the apartment already prepared to go). They canceled the first time and ask us to reorganize it ourselves, when the activity stated it was completely full until Saturday. Even so, I book it again for Saturday. I am the one who asks if it is going to take place in the morning since they do not tell me anything, and my surprise is that they tell me no again, but if I hadn't asked, they wouldn't even notify you. I find it incredible that you come on vacation for 5 days and organize your day around certain activities and these people cancel it on you at the last minute, as if you had time to spare. To this day, I still do not have the refund of the money for the payments I made (€214), neither of them. Honestly, I am not going to recommend it to anyone and, of course, a very bad experience with this tour operator; booking with them is a risk that you will end up with no plans at all. We are leaving tomorrow, so we are left with nothing to do. So, any Spaniard who comes should know what to expect.
This was a fantastic experience! Soraldo Nebo was our guide. He and Captain Dajko gave really great and interesting explanation on the whole process of mussel farming. The food was the highlight of the tour. Every dish was incredible, the salad was fresh and the wine was very tasty. I would highly recommend this tour especially at sunset. The area is gorgeous.
Due to the season, there were no mussels to pick, wash and eat so the experience was very limited…We had a small tour by boat and then ate on the beach and this ended up to be a very expensive dinner for what was offered. We also add that the tour started an hour later than planned, we were informed in advance but still was a bit inconvenient for our plans…and the boat almost left without us despite being there 30min earlier…so overall not a great afternoon. A bit disappointing given the high reviews we read.
We had such a lovely sunset experience, the views were amazing and the mussels were yummy so happy we decided to take this trip
Great experience! The food was absolutely delish! Enjoyed getting to visit the muscle farm and learn about the history behind it.
Really good trip. The boat ride around the lagoon was good in its own right, interesting the learn about the farming and cleaning the mussels the great hospitality for dinner.
It is not a sailing tour as described. If you go to a restaurant to eat mussels, it is cheaper. A little was said about mussels.
Hi dear, On the mussel tour we sail on traditional wooden boat, like on prescription. We haven't mentione "sailing boat" if I understood correctly from translation. Normaly when our guests feel that is shared not enough information they do ask and interact. Do not let thinks get lost. The last is about the mussel dishes, you cannot find in all the region mussel dishes that we prepare at mussel tour, especially: grilled mussel on the wood and raw ones. The Mussel Tour was absolutely incredible. My trip to Albania has been amazing, and this has been the best excursion I've experienced here. The captain was extremely knowledgeable, funny, and personable, making the entire experience unforgettable. I can't wait to visit the restaurant and see the captain again next year. The young graduate student who translated for us was a lovely gentleman and did a fantastic job. Thank you, Captain, for the delicious food and the incredible experience. A nice ride in a bun, where one gets an explanation of the breeding Afterward, one goes to the nearby restaurant and can try three different, very delicious shellfish dishes
