Paid for the full day with 30min ATV at the end. I felt the activitity to be very unorganised and the guides being unable to speak english fully strange. Oddly not far from the activity we had to stop and wait for Van 2 to show up then some passengers was swopped from the vans. The Emerald spring was nothing special, the Blue Pool I found to be so much better with the trek through the forest to get to it amazing. The hot springs again nothing amazing here too the hot springs are natural but they are housed in a man-made structure around them which i felt spoilt them. The best part for me was the ATV ride at the end which I choose, the course we took was really good and testing...but you could also choose Kayaking or the Tiger Temple. Overall 4/5 slightly pricey and the food was basic.
Fantastic! The tour guide was such a kind young lady, sweet person and a very consistent worker! Tour was just great
Emerald pools was busy . Hot springs was nice but their gardener started chopping the trees and bushes with a gasoline trimmer that emitted a lot of smoke and pollution that ruined the ambiance of relaxation there & I had to put on a mask to not inhale the toxic carbon dioxide & smoke. Trip to the Tiger temple was ok. The steps were very steep and not worth it unless you like the challenge of the hike & sweat in the hot weather. Tour guide was funny and pick up Van arrived on time.
Dear Tam_D Thank you for your feedback on your recent tour with us. We're glad you enjoyed the hot springs and the humor of your tour guide. We appreciate you letting us know about the busy crowds at Emerald Pools and the unpleasant experience with the gardener using a gasoline trimmer. We understand how the smoke and fumes could have disrupted the relaxing atmosphere. We'll definitely address this with the park management to see if there are alternative landscaping methods that can be used. Regarding the Tiger Temple, we understand the steep steps can be challenging, especially in hot weather. It's definitely a workout! We may want to consider adding a disclaimer to the tour description to better manage expectations. Thank you again for your feedback. We continuously strive to improve our tours and your comments help us ensure a more enjoyable experience for all our customers.
This was a good half day trip. The pools were stunning to see and the hotspring at the end was very refreshing.

Could have been a lovely trip but turned into a V mark on the sites. Lots of delays. The pick up from the hotel was on time at 8am, but for some reason we had to wait for another group before entering the Emerald Pool. The walk towards the Emerald Pool is exactly 1 kilometer. In the program it should be a slow walk of about half an hour. In practice, to make up for the delay, there was a quick fifteen-minute walk, with no explanations along the way. And instead of spending an hour in the pool, allocate only 45 minutes. The hot springs were also only about half an hour instead of an hour. In the end we returned to the hotel at 4 pm. They call it a half-day trip, but in reality we wasted a whole day on an hour and a half of experiences and everything else was waiting and driving. disappointed.
Dear Lior I'm sorry to hear that you had a disappointing experience on the Krabi Outback Explorer tour. It sounds like there were a number of factors that contributed to your dissatisfaction, including delays, a rushed schedule, and a lack of information. I understand that you were looking forward to spending more time at the Emerald Pool and the hot springs, and I'm sorry that you didn't have the opportunity to do so. I've reached out to the tour operator to let them know about your feedback, and I hope that they will take your comments into consideration in the future. I hope that you are able to have a more enjoyable experience on your next trip to Krabi.
We liked the program of the trip, we enjoyed the beauties of nature and even those 1260 steps up to the Tiger Cave Temple. But we have suffered all day twisted and bent, stuck on the back seats of the van sized for children. My husband is 1.90 meter, I am 1.75. And there were children in the group. But no one cared. So disappointing.
Dear Zuzana_K Thanks for the review and your comments about the trip. Sorry to hear that the seats were not comfortable.
The vehicle came for pock up at 8.35,but it took long time to pick up just 3 families 🙄 The guide was hardly knowing English. Even,he was not using signboard for the communication. Lot of time got wasted, resulting in very less time for all activities.
Dear VIPUL_B Thanks for your review and hints what to improve. We will tell the drive to improve for pickup service and also will train our guides more in English.
Picking up at the hotel (Beyond Resort) was, as with the other excursions, very relaxed and pleasant. Here again in advance, a huge thank you to our Lek, who took a lot of time for the participants and is a dream especially for German-speaking travelers without English skills! We started the tour in the rainforest of Khaopra - Bangkhram. On site, we walk a short distance (paved path) through the rainforest to the first stop, the Emerald Pool. Here you have the opportunity to swim and refresh yourself. Thanks to the recommendation of our Lek - and I would also recommend this at this point - you should go a short distance further into the forest before bathing and look at the blue lagoon. And quite honestly, the half-hour you miss from bathing is made up for many times over by the sight of this lagoon! A beautiful piece of earth! Just breathtaking! After you have been able to take in nature, there is still enough time to swim in the Emerald pool for a lap in the water. **At the beginning of the tour you will be supplied with filled aluminium water bottles, which you carry with you the rest of the tour** The second stop was the thermal springs. Here you are provided with the traditional clothes of the Thais (Google: Thai changing pants). After a short shower you can then enter the pools. It is interesting that the hot springs are also located in the middle of the rainforest, away from the crowds. You also get a short introduction to bathing correctly. **The different pools also have different temperatures. I recommend finding out for yourself what temperatures you can tolerate. The warmest pools have hosed even me (29 years young) properly. In case of need, you can also stay in the "colder" pools** After two "rounds" of the thermal pool we also got our lunch right nearby. The last stop was the so-called Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Sua). Those who can should definitely try the 1260 steps to the summit of the Temple Mount. **Important, please don't underestimate the climb: I am with my wife full of vigour and cockiness up the stairs until my pulse watch (after about 350 steps) with 160 pulses has come to a pause *wink* We have already worked our way up the last steps badly. And this is partly because the steps are sometimes very steep and uneven. I had to climb the steps on all fours from time to time. Basically, however, this can be done if you take the time for enough breaks. The descent is no problem for this** You will be rewarded with a gigantic view over the region and a very beautiful Buddha statue. Just Google the temple and let the view take you with it. Also worth mentioning are the monkeys that "populate" the temple at the foot of the mountain. These little cheeky monkeys have it fist-thick behind their ears. So take good care of food, drink, sunglasses etc! After the temple we went back to the hotel quite relaxed. In my opinion a trip that is highly recommended!
7 of us were picked up promptly from our hotel & taken to the Emerald pool to avoid the crowds, had a swim & spent some time there before being taken to the spa for a delicious thai lunch, my friend & I are vegetarian, the food was so good. After lunch we spent time in the hot pools. You are given clothes to wear & a towel. The water is very hot! Next stop was the tiger cave, it is a very long & steep climb to the top but so worth it, views were breathtaking. Be careful of the monkeys, they love to steal food & drink of you. Our tour guide was lovely, very friendly & very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour, it's a small group tour, there were 11 of us in total. Definitely worth paying that bit extra.
Have started with the Tiger Cave temple, Lek has explained everything very extensively and interestingly. The ascent to the Budda figure with 1283 steps was exhausting , the view then simply magnificent. Then we went on to the hot springs, the non-public spa area had different temperature pools to switch between, totally super. Then there was a small snack. Well strengthened we went to the Emeral/Crystel pool at the end, our guide Lek explained everything great again. The way through the jungle was interesting and then the refreshing swim in the pool. Thanks to the Krabi specialists for the environmentally friendly attitude. Aluminium water bottles that are always refilled and Lek as an informative guide. A great day in Thailand
