Best for families couples or even if you are solo. Our guide, Peachy, was awesome and so fun as a person. They had a great personality and kept us all entertained. The crowd size too was perfect. Not too small or large. The overall atmosphere despite it being a hot day was quite pleasent. Peachy proactively asked everyone if they wanted to take a picture in all the beautiful locations we visited and took some great pics too. The length of the visit was ideal because it started in the afternoon and ended by 8 pm so we had a great time without feeling tired or spending an entire day. The admission fee felt a bit high initially but we forgot all about it once the trip started and returned with a great experience. The food was quite good too.
Good outing the staff is attentive and dedicated. The bioluminescence of the planton with a bucket of water on the deck of the boat is best seen.
Fun guide and interesting itinerary
Tour was okay for something to do. If you love snorkeling you will enjoy that part of the tour. We missed the sunset. Overall it was good.
Overall, I enjoyed this tour. There were a few things that could have been done better. We were picked up at our hotel and driven a short distance to the check in area. This was a bit of chaos and could be fine-tuned a bit to be less aggravating. We were told our group would be leaving at 2pm, but we didn’t walk to the boat until 2:15pm. By that time, some people in the group had wandered off and we had to wait for them to be found. The islands were nice, but so crowded. And this is technically low season. There were designated swimming/snorkeling areas at the two islands we actually landed on, and you were right next to a bunch of other people. You couldn’t really move much - it was like being in a big bathtub with other people. There were two islands that we didn’t actually land on - you just had the option to jump out if you wanted to snorkel/swim. We passed by Railay. I didn’t count 7 islands, but I was still happy with what we saw. Dinner was buffet style and was pretty good! Of course, many of the other travelers acted as if they have never seen food before and literally pushed people out of the way to claw at and grab as much food as they could carry. The staff did try to manage this, which was appreciated. The sunset was amazing - it had been a cloudy day and I think we were all expecting to not be able to see much, but lucked shined down, the clouds lifted and we were treated to a spectacular view of the setting sun from the boat. It was magical. Temper your expectations about the bioluminescence - it’s cool but very subtle. Our guide was nice, patient and did his best to inform us of what was coming next.
It was a great experience only thing is our booking said we would go to reiley beach and we did not. It felt like false advertising but otherwise amazing experience!
