The staff were lovely and the spots where the boat stopped were very nice and secluded. However, the trip could have been a bit longer because the Salt Lake was the last stop, and we barely had time for coffee, a stroll, and a dip. Adding two more hours would be great. The nature was wonderful. The boat itself was fine, albeit somewhat uncomfortable: No pillows to sit on anywhere, except the mattresses in the front of the ship. One big issue I found was that the wine was served immediately in the morning, and throughought the trip, but no coffee?! Surely, there was space for coffee, because there was space for jugs and jugs of wine, both red and white. Sure, you could say that not everyone drinks coffee, but not everyone drinks alcohol, either. Especially at 9 am.
This is a must do in Zadar. The crew were very friendly and upbeat. The scenery was excellent and so was the weather.
People want idyll, untouched nature and pure relaxation, swimming, sun silence. Other people live in such regions, want to profit from these aspirations and - legitimately - take money to achieve a better life in everyday life. In the Kornati, a textbook conflict of goals. If a sailing ship of wealthy northern Europeans runs into the bay, islanders approach and take money for buoy and/or jetty. Semi-state rangers charge between €50 and €100 for a day's berthing. If a lonely beach is offered in brochures and internet, an excursion ship comes from the next big city and puts an end to this dreamy solitude. A temporary outdoor pool is created Many seasonal island hosts, called Konoba, try to call up extreme prices for food and drink, which are actually accepted. If many guests calculated these unexpectedly high expenses when planning the trip, the island world would actually be far emptier. But the above justifies prices that would provoke outrage at home.
Long, slow and nothing to see... Kornati is arid, the salt lake muddy. This is the tourist trap par excellence. The bathing areas are in harbours where hydrocarbon residues float. The staff is nevertheless friendly.
Wonderful for hiking, but the salt lake is very muddy and smells. Overcrowded in high season, so better explore later
Was overall very nice, even the lunch was really delicious. The crew was very friendly and endeavoured that nothing is missing. The drive back to Zadar after the times stop was almost 3 h. It was a little too long for me personally.
Zadar and its old town are beautiful. Many restaurants line the promenade but also in the old town it has many delicious places. The beautiful streets and houses in the center are very well maintained and clean. As in any city quite a lot of tourists, but we are also ;-) Attention: Keep your fingers off private taxi companies, they are literally ripping off tourists with horrendous prices!
Beautiful days, emerald water, lots of wine and good company!! The salt lake nothing special, I recommend taking a quick walk but then returning to swim in the sea. Elvis super nice and professional!! Very recommended. Even lunch with a much appreciated view!
The hidden bay and national park were absolutely delightful. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Remember to pack your hiking boots and swimsuit for a well-rounded experience. Indulge in unlimited beverages, including wine, throughout the trip. The lunch provided was quite satisfying, but it's wise to bring along a snack of your choice. Be prepared to do absolutely nothing for about 6 hours during the 10-hour journey as you simply cruise on the boat. My advise is to bring some warm clothing as it can get chilly on the water.
I paid 50 euro +15 extra for entrance of the National Park Kornati. The boat's name was not the same as the boat that came so it was a little search and stress before a hulpful Croatian man helped me. The boat trip was really lovely and smooth. I got a strong drink in the morning and afterwards it was water, juice and wine a volonté. We stopped at this really cute little bay to swim and have our lunch. Afterwards we got a Kornati National Park. This park had no extras for me to see. Just some cliffs on the other side, but nothing really interesting. Typical tourist stuff. So the 50euro from the lovely boat tour Was totally the right price, but I Would not pay the 15extra for the park.
