We were very impressed with the myriad of bike trails in the Slovenian shores area. We particularly liked the tunnels.
Our cruise ship was late to port. Tour operator would not accommodate a pick up later. Would not refund either. Completely inflexible and unreasonable. Avoid at all costs. Plus other cruise ship passengers just rented them off the dock for less than half this cost!
Dear Daniel, We had informed you in advance that our representative would be waiting for you at the cruise terminal at 9 AM for bike pickup. We did not receive any request from you regarding an alternative pickup time. Your cruise ship was also not late, as all the other fellow passengers of yours were able to meet us on time at the agreed time and place. Regrettably, despite our commitment to being punctual and providing efficient service, you did not arrive as scheduled. We patiently waited for over an hour, hoping for your arrival. It's important to note that we do not have bikes parked at the terminal; we need to transport them there specifically for your pickup. It would have been helpful if you had informed us in advance about your inability to meet for the bike pickup or requested an alternative pickup time. Given the circumstances, it may not be fair to write a negative review for something that happened unintentionally and was not our fault.
Very good cycling experience! Representative of operator me us at the ship dock, led us on short walk to cycling shop, shop operator prepared bikes for each person in our group, and provided map and recommendation of cycling routes. Great overall experience!
We were met right as we left our cruise ship by Dejan and he walked us through Koper to the rental shop pointing out attractions and local shops along the way. The bikes were well maintained and we got locks to use as well. All the trails were clearly marked and Dejan helped us get to the starting point of the trail. Beautiful day and trail, the tunnels were a highlight, as was the beach stop. There were many places to fill up water bottles along the way. When we arrived back we were greeted with local wine for the adults and water for the kids as well as oils and cheeses. It was the perfect day in Koper
