It was a great tour. Great storytelling. You learn a lot of Kilkenny’s dark past. Especially that Oliver Cromwell was real enemy of Ireland.

This tour made our trip! We were a very small group (just our family) but the guide made the tour so wonderful! We had such a better appreciation of Kilkenny and Ireland’s history in general. We appreciated the “ghost/spooky” focus here and there but it was never cheesy. She provided wonderful historically accurate info and a context for it all. Very meaningful experience the best tour we did on our 21 day trip.

A wonderful guide we had. I just think that such an evening tour should not be advertised as a haunting tour..it was not haunting nor scary..my first haunting tour and I convinced my husband as well..( unfortunate really disappointed) Such a tour of Kilkenny should instead be promoted as a tour of medieval Kilkenny (with haunting stories added in).
We are a historical tour of dark and haunted dark areas in Kilkenny City. We are not your typical ghost tour but more dark history.
Very informative tour, learned a lot about the hunted side of Kilkenny, our tour guide was very energetic and funny.

Lovely evening tour in Kilkenny. Sharon was fun, knowledgeable and explained stories in an engaging way. We delved into some of the dark stories around the area for about an hour. It is worth your time and money!

Informative, but really dark or haunted. It was more historical. Wanted a tour with some more ghost stories and the darker side of life.
Yes as we always describe on our description on the booking system that our tours are historical dark stories From the priest hunter to the lady in white to the famine and the hangings areas in the city. It doesn't get much darker than that . Our tour is real life historical dark stories. We also include true haunting in the city.
