We had a lovely time walking around & seeing all the lovely flowers, we brought food & drinks & sat in the beautiful gardens. We thought we had booked too long but the time went quickly. We were a little late picking up the coach, however the driver waited for us & told us about places as we passed by. Would recommend for a day trip.
The whole experience was very smooth, though I wish some more details would be listed on the site. I had to get them from the tour operater. In terms of what bus to look out for and exact timings and platform. 8.30 is cruise terminal pick up time, 9am is Central Station pick up. Otherwise I had a lovely day at Keukenhof and would definitely say this is the best way to do it. The four hours I had there was more then enough to see everything at a nice pace. Highly recommend doing the am one as it gets quite busy lunch time onwards.
Courteous and timely service. The air conditioner on the bus did not work and it was uncomfortable on the return trip.
Very seamless experience from start to finish. The bus arrived and departed on time. Very satisfied with how it all went.
A must see when in Holland!! Super stroll thru a wonderful garden of mostly different species of tulips.
It was beautiful, but very crowded. I suggest going in the AM rather than later in the day. Upon entering, go directly to boat trip if you plan to do, as they sell out quickly.
Beautiful gardens. If you are in Holland in May you should definitely visit the gardens. Tremendous.
Keukenhof Gardens is fantastic and not to be missed, but might have been easier to do from Amsterdam (rather than Rotterdam). The bus was very late picking us up and there was nobody at the pick up point to reassure the passengers. I phoned the local company to find out about the delay. It was also necessary to remain at the garden until 5:30 to get transport back to town. It would be nice to have more options. It was a very long day.
It's something everyone should see at least once. Only go during a nice weather day. Food is expensive there. Very crowded but still great time
Instructions said be there @ 11:30am, pick up @ 12:00, people were getting frustrated at 12:20, and finally the bus rolls up at 12:30. Not even an, I'm sorry, or an excuse like traffic was bad. Just take a ticket and board the bus. The journey was slow due to traffic to the gardens, but well worth the price paid. Spectacular displays of colours and variety of tulips and other plants, amazing! The gardens were crowded but handled the crush well, with a few line ups for washrooms and food. Bus return tkme was 5:30 and he knew how to by prompt then.
