KAZBEGI GUDAURI ANANURI Excursão de um dia em grupo de Tbilisi!

No caminho para Kazbegi, paramos no pitoresco reservatório de água de Zhinvali e depois visitamos o Castelo Ananuri, no rio Aragvi. O castelo foi palco de inúmeras batalhas e serviu de abrigo à população local durante as guerras. Ananuri é considerado um dos mais belos monumentos históricos da Geórgia. A uma altitude de 2.200 metros acima do nível do mar, no lado sul do planalto da Cordilheira do Grande Cáucaso, e próximo ao Passo Cross, fica a estação de esqui Gudauri. O Panorama Gudauri é um monumento que celebra a amizade entre a Geórgia e a Rússia. Stepantsminda é uma cidade pequena. A principal atração aqui é a Igreja da Santíssima Trindade – o Mosteiro Gergeti que está localizado a uma altitude de 2.170 metros sob a montanha de Kazbegi. Devido à sua localização no topo de uma montanha íngreme, rodeada por uma natureza muito agreste, a igreja tornou-se o símbolo da preservação das relíquias georgianas.

O Reservatório de Água Jinvali, também conhecido como lago, está localizado na Rodovia Militar da Geórgia. Os soviéticos construíram a barragem na década de 1980 – um lugar maravilhoso para tirar fotos incríveis.
A fortaleza de Ananuri data dos séculos XVI-XVIII e está situada na proa do rio Aragvi. Ananuri era um castelo e sede dos Eristavis (duques) de Aragvi, uma dinastia feudal que governou a área a partir do século XIII. O castelo foi palco de inúmeras batalhas. Este é um lugar perfeito para fotografia de paisagem, há vistas incrivelmente bonitas da fortaleza e do reservatório de Jinvali juntos. A fortaleza permaneceu em uso até o início do século XIX. Em 2007, o complexo estava na lista provisória para inclusão no programa do Patrimônio Mundial da UNESCO.

Jvari Pass Travertine Natural Monument é sinter calcário ou tufo no vale do rio Baidara (2197 m). Foi formado quando os minerais de carbonato precipitam da água à temperatura ambiente. Travertino em alguns lugares é coberto com uma fina camada de água transparente na superfície branca das encostas onde ainda está em processo de desenvolvimento intensivo.
Stepantsminda destaca-se no mapa da Geórgia, não só por estar a apenas onze quilómetros da fronteira norte do país, mas também pelo facto de passar pela cidade um dos mais antigos cruzamentos entre a Europa e a Ásia. Não se sabe quando Stepantsminda foi fundada, mas um tesouro dos séculos VI a V aC foi descoberto aqui.
A Igreja da Trindade de Gergeti é um nome popular para a Igreja da Santíssima Trindade, perto da vila de Gergeti. A localização da igreja é a margem direita do rio Chkheri sob a Montanha Kazbegi, 2170 metros acima do nível do mar. A Igreja da Trindade Gergeti foi construída no século XIV, e esta é a única igreja de cúpula cruzada na província de Khevi. Em tempos de perigo, preciosas relíquias de Mtskheta, incluindo a Cruz de São Nino, foram trazidas aqui para serem guardadas. Durante a era soviética, os sovietes proibiram os serviços religiosos, mas a igreja permaneceu um destino turístico popular. A igreja é um estabelecimento ativo da Igreja Ortodoxa e Apostólica da Geórgia. Você terá uma vista panorâmica épica de todo o vale da igreja. The guide was an arrogant young man with poor English. Our guide Levani was difficult to understand, spoke in a very patronizing fashion, asking the group some obscure questions and making fun of everyone for not knowing the answer. A few people in our group switched to another car at the first stop because of the guide. He brought us to a honey tasting stand where the owner was selling honey. A few of us, including myself, bought a few jars. The owner charged my credit card and gave us honey without giving the receipt. Due to poor internet reception, the charge did not immediately appear on my credit card. The next stop we saw another stand and inquired about the prices. It turned out that we paid twice as much for the honey than other vendors were charging. But the biggest surprise came after we got back to the hotel. Instead of charging an already elevated price of $30, I was charged $96 for two jars of honey by the dishonest vendor. Why I think our guide set us up? On the way back, our guide picked him up from his stand and gave him a ride home with us all the way to Tbilisi, chatting with him amicably. This was a very planned rip off, and I felt being taken advantage of by an unscrupulous young man. I am sorry I went on that trip.

Tamara is an excellent tour guide. Very kind and informative in addition of so calm. The van is 2024 new and clean, but without Wi-Fi as mentioned in the tickets and when I asked about it, they told me to send a claim to Viator because all their cars don't have Wi-Fi. The locations are amazing and breathtaking!! Gudauri was better than Kazbegi because at Kazbigi, we waited at the Vans and Buses park till those who went up to the Gergiti church came back, then we headed back to Tbilisi. So, if you don't take the 4x4 car up to the monestry, you end up waiting at the park without any excitement like Gudauri. In General, it was a very exciting day and everyone was kind. The driver was very calm and patient on the way from tbilisi to Kazbigi, but was exactly the opposite on the way back as he drove in a very risky way and we almost hit a car on the opposite side. We felt we were in F1 race, then we shouted to slow down, so he did because also the traffic became jammed at the last 45 minutes of the trip before arriving to tblisi. He became normal.
It was an amazing experience! Our guide was incredibly helpful and explained everything about all the places we visited. The driver was also very kind and friendly. I would like to thank them both for their support and cooperation in making this trip such a great success. Highly recommended!
