Experiência de caiaque na Ponta da Piedade

I was a solo female traveler and what I did appreciate about Blue Fleet vs the other kayaking companies is that they pair you up with a guide in the double Kayak instead of a random stranger. That also helped me feel safe and our guide, Miguel was great! He was great at keeping the group together, helping any kayak that was struggling and he was funny. A great double kayak partner! Why I knocked off a bubble is because this tour was a lot shorter than what I anticipated. I felt we went through just a couple of caves and then we were done and on the way back so Im not sure if the cost is worth the short tour, but the caves are beautiful. I also booked the earliest tour at 845 am thinking that it would avoid the crowds as I hear the afternoons get pretty packed but there were still a lot of kayakers on the ocean so be prepared to wait and bump into other groups too. Otherwise, the skipper and crew were great and the Blue Fleet location is easy to find!

Everything was extremely well organized, and our guide Michael was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable, and very professional. Exploring the spectacular cliffs, caves, and hidden corners of Ponta da Piedade from a kayak was an incredible experience. Being so close to the rocks and the water is something you simply cannot compare with seeing the coastline from a boat. The small group made the experience even more enjoyable and personal, and Michael gave us a great explanation along the way. It was an amazing adventure for the whole family, with beautiful scenery and unforgettable moments. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Algarve!

We met at the train station and that was very efficient and then we were taken to the boat. We left on time we were able to mount the kayaks and then they placed them on a ramp so it was very easy to get in and out of the water. The view from the kayak was spectacular. We traverse many arches and saw some very interesting rock formations. Our guide was very patient and waited for all of us.

Getting to the meeting point was not quite easy because the provided address does not quite match the actual meeting point. Miguel the tour guide was very pleasant, likable, and competent. Even as a beginner, the tour was easy and pleasant, however, you should wear swimwear and have a change of clothes with you because you get wet quickly. After the tour, there was the opportunity to go swimming for a moment, which rounds off the tour. Taking photos was not really possible since you don't take anything with you on the kayak.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny. We had kids with us and it was very safe. I was concerned the ocean waves would make me seasick, but this area (especially with the coves) was super calm. Easy to navigate and safe. The tours lasts about 1 hour.

Really fun excursion. Very organized and worth the price. The trip was amazing. Loved being in the caves.

Amazing experience! Miguel and the guys in the boat were excellent! We had the best time. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fun adventure with beautiful sights. Total trip was 2 hours- then dinner in Lagos! Perfect day!
