Thamel é o ponto de partida do passeio. Um vibrante centro turístico, tem de tudo, desde hotéis a restaurantes, lojas, spa, clubes, etc. Você embarcará em seu riquixá em Thamel e continuará até Asan.
Localizado no coração de Katmandu, Asan é um mercado histórico onde você pode encontrar praticamente tudo o que quiser, desde especiarias e ervas até eletrônicos e roupas. Geralmente lotado de compradores, Asan também salpicava templos ocasionais e monumentos antigos nas laterais das ruas. Aqui, pare e olhe ao redor enquanto você está em frente ao Templo Annapurna, templo da Deusa da abundância, onde Anna significa Comida e Purna significa Cumprir. Ao longo do aliado, você fará uma parada em diferentes templos, como Seto Machindranath, também conhecido como Janabaha Dyo, uma divindade adorada por hindus e budistas em Katmandu, e Aakash Bhairab Primeiro Rei no Nepal Bhasa, conhecido como Rei Yalambar. Você passará em seu riquixá pelas ruas estreitas de Asan para chegar à Praça Kathmandu Durbar.
Com mais de 50 templos e santuários a poucos quarteirões um do outro, a Praça Kathmandu Durbar contém um dos agrupamentos mais concentrados de estruturas históricas do vale. Este complexo de palácios, pátios e templos, construído entre os séculos XII e XVIII, foi a residência dos antigos reis Malla de Katmandu. Outro ponto marcante que é notavelmente visível e não deve deixar de mencionar Dentro dos antigos templos e locais de madeira, você também verá um edifício branco de influência europeia, Gaddhi Baithak, que foi construído durante o regime de Rana. Unfortunately, a heavy rain started early in the tour, making it difficult to see some of the sites or see out from under the cover of the rickshaw. Stopped for tea and made the best of the rainy evening.

Lovely to experience kathmandu in the evening and by rickshaw. Guide was very knowledge and informative. Enjoyed learning the history and seeing old kathmandu as well. Dunbar square was a highlight.

The tour was a great experience and a wonderful way to know Thamel and Durbar Square if you are new to Nepal. The rickshaw ride itself is so safe and the driver is a very jovial and supportive person. The tour guide is wonderful - she is chirpy, talkative and full of wonderful stories about Kathmandu and the culture. She gives you time to roam around personally too, and answers any questions. Durbar square is a beautiful place even at night - lively, cultural, and not very touristy - you get to see a slice of how locals in Kathmandu spend their weekends. Highly recommend.
It was a great night time tour with Bini, seeing some of the hidden gems of Themal and beyond. I got to see some great sites and experience the fast pace of a rickshaw.
Amazing way to see Kathmandu! I loved the whole experience. Got to try some delicious tea and lassi too. Sheena was a fantastic tour guide and knew so much history. Highly recommend!!
