Bodbe Monastery é um dos locais religiosos mais importantes da Geórgia, localizado perto da cidade de Sighnaghi. É o local de enterro de Santo Nino, a mulher do século IV que trouxe o cristianismo para a Geórgia. O complexo do mosteiro, rodeado por cipreses e jardins de flores, oferece uma atmosfera espiritual pacífica e vistas espetaculares sobre o Vale Alazani e as montanhas do Cáucaso. Guide was very good at english and he was doing his best to explain us everything and make us feel good. We didn't like wines on the first wine tasting, but on the second they were really delicious. Lunch was very late and we didn't like the restaurant so much and it was more expensive than the others.

The excursion was quite long, but it flew under the radar and with great pleasure. In the guide's story, it all made for a lively, interesting story. They tried different wines, compared them, caught flavors and aftertastes - and never got bored. On the contrary, time flew under the radar, and the desire to learn more only grew. This was great! We spontaneously signed up, and it was a very rewarding itinerary, with a great guide. Henriet is knowledgeable, managed time impecably, and seamlessly explained everything in both English and Russian, while we discovered interesting places, stories and fun anecdotes that we wouldn't have otherwise. The stops were just long enough, with the perfect mix of must sees and places that feel authentic, as well as many surprises. Highly recommended, and more than fairly priced!
