Jost Van Dyke - Sandy Spit & Soggy Dollar Sail Tour na BVI

Captain James and Dewey weee great! Best time this was our third trip with Aristocat’s and we’ll be back in December!

I had so much fun on board the Aristocats Sails! The crew was amazing with various different drinks. The trip was very informative. Lunch was delicious! I would definitely recommend this trip to all my friends, my boyfriend and I really had an amazing time.

Over the years we’ve done several day sails with Aristocat. Every single time we’ve gone, the whole family agrees it’s the highlight of our BVI trip. We’ve always had a great crew, and James and Maddy were no exception. We actually enjoyed our first trip so much that we booked a second trip before we got off the boat.If you have a day to spare, it’s well worth the money and time. Can’t wait to go again!

I've cruised about a dozen times. This was hands down the best excursion I've experienced. Captain James and Maddie were incredible. The hospitality was top notch and that only added to the experience. The ride to and time at Jost Van Dyke would have been more than enough to make this worthwhile. Another island after (smugglers beach) and a wonderful trip between islands only added to the experience. My kids loved it, my wife loved it, and I loved it. I couldn't ask for more and will book this everytime I'm back. For now I'll keep recommending it to my friends and colleagues. Thank you Capt. James, Maddie, and Aristocat for a truly beautiful day.

AMAZING TIME!! James and Maddie were both wonderful! We enjoyed everything about the trip. The catamaran was incredible...such a nice treat for the day. We loved it so much, we booked another day with James on a private charter boat for 6 hours the next day to take us to the snorkel the caves at Norman Island (INCREDIBLE) and snorkel with the turtles there, too. We also had him take us to the Baths on Virgin Gorda. Everything was amazing.

An excellent day trip from Tortola to Jost van Dyke. Skipper James and first mate/stew Maddie made the whole trip very fun and had many interesting stories of the locations we visited. Particularly cool was that some of the kids in the group were given a chance to take a turn at the helm and James showed his chops as an RYA Yachtmaster instructor so that they could be successful.

This was our 5th and 6th trip with Aristocat. We visited both Jost and Norman Island for two amazing separate days! Tiegen and Maddy (and another wonderful lady whose name I forget, I’m sorry) were incredible hosts aboard the vessel with great music, an excellent array of drinks and delicious lunch which was so welcome after snorkeling and travel. They were always offering refreshments and checking up to make sure things were satisfactory. I felt the snorkel time on Norman was ample and time on Jost at Soggy Dollar was too! We even got to go to Foxy’s which was a real treat! 10/10 can’t recommend these ventures enough! I loved the opportunity to paddle board as well. We saw turtles on the Norman trip and amazing species of fish: barracuda, parrot, cow and squirrel fish to name a few. The crew worked really hard to secure a great time for all! The vessels feel very secure and head was neat and tidy. Even though we’ve repeated some of these tours, every time is unique and shows more of these beautiful islands. It might seem a bit of an expense, but couldn’t be more worth it to enjoy the beauty of the BVIs!

We had an absolutely wonderful time on our half day sailing trip. The captain, James, and his first mate, Maddie, were top notch! After a smooth sail, our first stop was at the Soggy Bottom bar. We had plenty of time to swim, get drinks, and shop before heading back to the boat. Don’t worry about the swim from the boat to the shore. They have vests, floats, and pool noodles if needed. They also have paddle boards! Maddie prepared a delicious lunch and there was plenty. She made sure we always had plenty to drink so we were well hydrated. The second stop was a small island, Sandy Cay National Park, for a swim and walk on the beach. It was the best day! Everything was perfect. You can stop reading the reviews now. Go ahead and book with them. You will NOT regret it.

Our recent sailboat charter to Jost Van Dyke was hands down the highlight of our trip! We had a beautiful day on the water with the winds cooperating perfectly. The boat had a great, intimate vibe—besides ourselves, there was a honeymooning couple and a lovely family with two kids, making for a wonderful group dynamic. The Crew **James and Mattie** were absolutely fantastic and truly made the experience. They were incredibly accommodating from start to finish, constantly checking in to ensure everyone was comfortable, hydrated, and had everything they needed. Mattie also prepared a fantastic lunch that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. The Itinerary We made two perfect stops during the charter: * **White Bay (Jost Van Dyke):** Our first stop was the main beach, home to the famous **Soggy Dollar Bar** and **Hendo’s Hideout**. (Pro tip: Be sure to check out the **Hiho** brand t-shirts while you're there—simply the best quality!). * **Sandy Cay:** After lunch, we weighed anchor and headed to this stunning, private little island for a short, peaceful swim before making our way back to the West End harbor. Between the top-tier hospitality from James and Mattie and the breathtaking scenery, we couldn't have asked for a better day on the water. **Would highly recommend this charter to anyone!**

The sail with Aristocat was an excellent experience from start to finish. We were met by Tiguan at exactly 9.30 and welcomed aboard by James who was also our chef. Tiguan was our skipper for the day. Lunch aboard was excellent and interaction with our lovely crew was superb. I cannot recommend Aristocat more highly.
