This tour was super fun! Berto was very engaging and the activities were a blast. My favorite part was swimming in the cold mineral pool.
We had a fantastic day! Very complete, local experience, it was great to visit Oaxaca city surroundings and to see how diverse the region is! We learned a lot and had a great time.
Our guide was very interesting, passionate, and knowledgeable about Mexican culture. All the activities were worthwhile, and we made some wonderful discoveries. The timing of the activities was perfect, as it helped us avoid the crowds of tourists. We were a small 4 person's group.
Gilberto was a very friendly guide who curated a great experience! Seeing the local market was a highlight, and Gilberto was very informative showing us around.
My wife and I had a total blast on this day-trip! We had a smooth ride to Hierve El Agua in a very comfortable van. Gilberto was one of my favorite tour guides ever. I could really tell his passion and zest for life, travel, and culture. He was very knowledgeable about every stop that we had. I really appreciated that he conducted the tour in an ethical manner - giving back to the communities that we were in. Hierve El Agua was stunning, lunch was delicious, and Arbol del Tule was marvelous. Highly recommend this tour!
Gilberto’s tour is a joyful experience! I went with my partner and her parents and we all had an amazing time. Gilberto takes care of the tips, toll fees, and entrance fees. The tour is well organized. I felt like we spent the perfect amount of time at each stop. My partner and I are not morning people, but Gilberto’s great energy and love for Oaxaca made it worth the early start. We also made it to Hierve el Agua before the crowds. Learning about Zapotec rug making was also a highlight for me.
Beto is one of the best guides I have ever met. He is genuine, approachable and friendly. He shared lots of information about the places we visited and Mexican cultures that helped deepen our understanding. The tour was well organized and paced well.
If you want to get outside the hub bub of Oaxaca and experience the area as the locals do, this tour is a must! Our guide, Jilberto, was one of the best guides I have had in over 40 years of travel. His knowledge was extensive, his passion for the area apparent, and he took time to talk to and get to know every single person on the trip. The natural beauty of the area is fantastic, and you really got a feel for how the people in rural areas live. Small groups and a private guide make all the difference. Save yourself disappointment and just book this tour NOW!
The tour guide was excellent. Never had a better guide, informative and considerate. Trip include a wonderful breakfast as we as lunch. All the sites were very interesting. The van driver was also good support. Also interesting to see the rural area of the region
We were so lucky to choose this tour during our time in Oaxaca! We booked this tour because we liked that it started early enough to beat the crowds to Hierve el Agua, but there were so many other benefits to the tour as well! Gilberto was an amazing guide and you can tell that he has true passion for his work. We especially appreciated that he put so much emphasis on supporting and respecting the local communities everywhere we went. The pace of the tour was perfect and did not feel rushed even though we saw so much. The lunch was also one of the best meals we've had during our time in Mexico. We found his tour to be particularly thoughtful, authentic, and fun. Highly recommend choosing this tour if you are in Oaxaca!
