Excellent driver and excellent car. Communication could be improved. While all other tour operators contacted us in advance with details, we did not hear from this one until we reached out. We also didn't have car details until 4min before the start. Recommend they send out details in advance. Also a bit pricey for China standards.
The trip was awesome. Hardly any people, great weather and fantastic views. Our guide John Woo went above expectations and joined us on the wall. He helped with our tickets and ride to the upper drop off. He also made sure we got back to the right spot to catch the shuttle back to the car. It was a great experience all around.
A very good travel experience, Mr. Zhou, the driver, is proficient in driving and fluent in English. I look forward to choosing this agent's service again when I travel to China next time
Today we travelled to the Wall at Jinshanling, our driver Zhou went above and beyond. Great conversation - great driving- great help when we got to Jinshanling with tickets etc . Patiently waited for us to return . Due to high traffic congestion on the way back to Beijing - he knew all the short cuts/ alternative routes to take - so we got to see more of Beijing. The Great Wall itself at Jinshanling is quite spectacular with wonderful views - Zhou got the map for us and marked out a route - that made things easier too. Don’t queue for the cable car - the walk up is an easy one.
Fantastic day, this Great Wall section is very picturesque and worth going a bit further away from Beijing
Miles was punctual, very friendly, and spoke great English. He very patiently waited for us after we saw the wall at sunset and was very communicative all along.
This is a fantastic section of the great wall. Beautiful landscape and views of the wall, but also you get the chance to walk on unrestored parts. Joe, our driver, was super helpful, efficient and very friendly. I got a message from him the day before confirming the pick-up time. We left the hotel at the agreed time. He liaised with the people from the visitor/ticket centre on possible walks, duration, etc. On the way back, he was happy to provide restaurant recommendations and interesting places to visit in Beijing.
David was wonderful. He drove us to the Great Wall and back. He is calm and friendly and very helpful. Would definitely book with him again. Highly recommend.
We had a wonderful experience with this service. Our driver, Marvin Xu, was at our hotel promptly at the time we agreed upon, the car was spotless, and Marvin was very professional. He was there waiting for us when we were finished walking from the main gate to the east gate so no need for us to wait around. We would highly recommend using this service- personal attention with out the headaches of navigating yourself there. And reasonably priced for the three of us. Thanks, Marvin, for a great time!
We used Miles' car service for our day trip to Jinshanling. It was super easy to set-up, Miles provided all of the information beforehand. Our driver called us at the hotel to confirm the day before. The drive to the Great Wall was comfortable and our driver was very entertaining. The actual hike to Jinshanling was incredible. We saw maybe 10 people over 2.5 hours; we basically had the wall to ourselves. When we finished, our driver was waiting to take us back to Beijing. We would definitely recommend this service.
