Começando após um café da manhã cedo, por volta das 7h30 ou mais tarde, de Kampala ou Entebbe para fugir do trânsito, nossa jornada leva você por plantações pitorescas de chá e açúcar, bem como por vibrantes mercados à beira da estrada repletos de frutas e vegetais coloridos. Ao longo do caminho, você visitará três pontos de interesse: as Cataratas de Sezibwa, onde poderá maravilhar-se com a beleza natural das cascatas; faça uma curta caminhada na Floresta Mabira, experimentando a vegetação exuberante e a diversidade da vida selvagem; e, finalmente, vá para Jinja para testemunhar a nascente do rio Nilo. As Cataratas do Sezibwa estão localizadas a 32 km ao longo da rodovia Kampala-Jinja. É um dos tesouros culturais escondidos de Uganda, com uma parte de propriedade do Reino Buganda e outra da Igreja Anglicana de Uganda. ... As Cataratas do Sezibwa têm 7 metros de altura com belas paisagens para relaxamento e diversão enquanto os pássaros cantam nas árvores.
A Floresta Mabira é uma área de floresta tropical que cobre cerca de 300 quilômetros quadrados em Uganda, localizada no distrito de Buikwe, entre Lugazi e Jinja. Foi protegida como Reserva Florestal Mabira desde 1932. É o lar de muitas espécies ameaçadas de extinção, como o primata Lophocebus ugandae. Poderá fazer uma pequena caminhada em mabira onde poderá avistar macacos e também diferentes espécies de aves.
O rio Nilo é o maior rio da África, tendo o Lago Vitória como sua nascente. O rio inicia sua jornada de 6.500 km até o Mar Mediterrâneo (Egito) ao lado da cidade de Jinja (Uganda) e mantém a Barragem de Owen Falls a fonte de hidroeletricidade para Uganda, com uma outra barragem em construção atualmente. Você poderá fazer um passeio de barco até o ponto principal denominado "ponto zero"

Visiting Jinja was absolutely a highlight of my trip to Uganda. The nile is so massive and to actually have a boat ride on the nile is something I can not easily forget. We saw many many birds and two big monitor lizards! It's really cool to see where to source of the Nile is. The boatman could tell us a lot about the history of the Nile, the birds and about Jinja city. Our accommodation was top notch, right at the Nile with an amazing sunset. Loved every bit of this trip!
