Jim Anderson was a great tour guide! As an urban planner for the city of Dallas, he’s very knowledgeable on the city’s architecture, history, foodie spots and best activities. The food tour was creative and delicious! The whisky shot at Wild Bulls Western Store was a fun add! I would definately recommend this tour when in Dallas.
Scott was so nice and friendly as well as knowledgeable of rhe area. Showed us as well as took pictures of us and sent them to me after our tour. Strongly recommend this tour with Scott.

This tour is perfect if you are a local or if you are visiting! I learned so many things and got to experience new food spots in Dallas. The food was impeccable and our guide was incredible! Do not waste any time and book yourself a tour with them ASAP!

Extremely disappointed by this tour. Started the tour eating cold brunch and then were taken to a CHAIN restaurant. After that we spent about 45 minutes on a trolley so that our tour guide could show us a park... Not the best way to spend a hot day. Last two spots were OK but nothing special. I would recommend that if you want to get a feel for the Dallas food scene go ahead and just look around yourself.
Dear Hayley, I am very sorry to hear that your tour did not meet your expectations. The Uptown Tour is our original tour which we have been doing for seven years now. Most guests really enjoy our selection of restaurants, and the antique trolley ride through Uptown to Klyde Warren Park. My understanding from our guide is that the trolley was delayed during your tour, which might have impacted your enjoyment of your time with us. As the trolleys are vintage, with some well over 100 years old, sometimes there are unfortunate delays. Please email us directly and we would be happy to issue a refund. I am really glad to hear that at least you enjoyed Bisous Bisous and Baboush and even though I am sorry you did not enjoy the Jam and Toast Brunch at The Rustic owned by country singer Pat Green. Personally it is my favorite tasting. I also enjoy the Fresno Fig Slider and honey drizzled sweet potato fries from Eureka! They are as you mentioned a small restaurant chain which has local community involvement in each of their locations. We feel they are a unique and valuable addition to our tours and enjoy bringing guests to the places we frequent as locals. Two of my girlfriends from Oklahoma visited over a weekend in April and wanted to sample the food scene here in Dallas so we signed up for the West Village Food Tour. Our tour leader was Jim who worked 20+ years for the City of Dallas Planning and Preservation Department. Needless to say he was a wealth of information and was a fantastic guide. Our walk began at The Rustic for Sunday brunch samplings; then we took the historic McKinney trolley to Tacos & Tequila for more brunch samplings. From T&T we took the trolley to Baboush for fantastic Mediterranean small plates; and then wrapped up the tour with French macrons and pastries from Bisou Bisou. I cannot wait to make each of these (4) restaurants part of my weekend routine. In fact, I am having drinks this weekend at the historic Bowen House which I discovered on our walk throughout Uptown. The $60 spent on the tour was WELL WORTH it. I would do this same tour again if given the opportunity.
