Jeep Safari # 1 no Algarve

The terrific tour guided by Ricardo. Very informative, engaging and amusing. He really showed off the culture and terrain of the local mountains. His humour and love of all things Portuguese was infectious. A great break from the usual holiday scene. Interesting flaura & fauna, very good local food. The highlight of our week in the Algarve.

Fantastic experience, the offroading parts were great fun! Like a really bumpy roller coaster. Our guide Ricardo was knowledgeable, lovely and funny. He told us all about the history of the area, stopped to show us plants and explain about the uses of these. The "firewater" was an acquired taste,but the honey at the farm and the demonstration were great. Lunch was Chicken peri peri and lots of wine and oranges which were delicious for pudding. The top of the mountain was spectacular. all in all well thought out, we even stopped to see a massive stork colony.

We booked a guided 4x4 evening tour through the Monchique Mountains with dinner via TUI and had a fantastic experience! Our tour guide Ricardo picked us up on time and told us a lot about the region. We drove on remote paths that we would not have seen without this tour. The food was very delicious, plentiful, and local - drinks included. We had plenty of opportunities for photos and to enjoy the view. The sunset with sparkling wine was unique and breathtaking. A wonderful experience that will stay in our memory!

We had an amazing day with the jeep safari and got picked up from our hotel by Zaid our tour guide for the day, Zaid was funny and very informative, lovely stops and fab views, 5*

This was our 4th trip and we still enjoyed it . The guide zaid was absolutely brilliant. Explained everything showed us what we all wanted to see. Made the trip fun and informative. The price was very good good value for money. Food was lovely. A good day out picked up from hotel and dropped off at hotel.

This was my second time doing this trip and I enjoyed it so much before I wanted to repeat the experience. We had a pick up time of 9:15 and we were picked up by Joao at 9:30 which was perfect. We got into the back we were in a jeep with 2 dutch people and 4 french people. We met up with another jeep with French people. And we headed off up into the mountains. Such a great experience. Getting away from the resort areas and seeing more of the nature etc. We went to a place that makes honey and fire water and got information on the processes. We didn’t get any as we only had hand luggage this trip but there was no hard sale which was great. We went to a Portuguese restaurant for lunch and that was lovely. We had break and soup, then salad chicken piri piri and chips, an orange for dessert and plenty of water and wine. We were also shown the cork trees. Definitely would recommend. It was obviously a quiet time. Last time we did this in May there was a convoy of 8 jeeps. My only negative would have been that the driver was chatting with the gentleman in the front of the car all the time so the people in the back felt a little left out. And also I would have suggested a 3rd jeep and had the English speaking people in a separate one. The people we were in the back with were absolutely lovely but we couldn’t chat because they didn’t have English and we didn’t have French.

This was a fantastic all day jeep tour. Our guide, George, was amazing and really made our day. We saw a lot that we wouldn't have been able to see on our own. Lunch was really good too. Don't hesitate to book this tour. Very good communication from the company before hand and was great to be picked up and dropped off at our hotel.

Chicken George absolutely made this trip. He was fun, interactive, knowledgeable and great company for us all. Lunch was very yummy and not shy with portion control. The trip itself was lovely, seeing the sites. 6 of us in one jeep from same party sat comfortably. Definitely with the price. Lots of photo opportunities too, and George always willing to snap away and give you heads up. The honey we tried was yummy.

Together with my Dutch friends we had a wonderfull time in the jeep safari. We had a very nice and good tourguide, if we had a bad experience we were told to say he was Pablo from Spain hahaha. But it was indeed a very good experience, all thanks to our tourguide Ricardo, he was really kind, funny and informative, he told us everything very clearly. We really enjoyed it!
