To be evaluated

The Tremiti Islands are stunning, but if you have children, consider carefully, because the journey is long, and once you arrive, you have to pay for another ferry to go to one of the islands. At that point, when we arrived at S. Domino, there was only one small beach, and we were forced to rent an umbrella to avoid being in the sun all day with the children. Thanking heaven that there was a free umbrella!!! The owner of the beach and the only bar and restaurant for eating... unbearable. A very expensive stay.

A romantic escape between sea and beauty in the Tremiti Islands

Romantic and suggestive experience, perfect to live as a couple. The crossing by motorboat from Vieste to the Tremiti Islands was pleasant and relaxing, with attentive service and friendly staff who helped make the journey even more enjoyable. Sailing together, admiring the open sea and the Gargano coast that is moving away, creates a special atmosphere. The arrival at the Tremiti is breathtaking: turquoise waters, enchanting views and a sense of tranquility that allows you to enjoy every moment without haste. An ideal experience for those looking for a day different from usual, full of sea, natural beauty and shared time. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway to remember.

An authentic experience in the Tremiti Islands starting from Vieste, out of season

I chose the excursion to the Tremiti Islands with Tour of the Islands starting from Vieste in September, and I could not make a better choice. Precise organization, easy boarding and a quiet crossing, made even more pleasant by the calm sea and the ideal climate of late summer. Traveling alone to the Tremiti in this period allows you to really appreciate the beauty of the islands: less crowding, intense colors, silence and a sense of peace hard to find in high season. I had plenty of time to explore, swim in the clear waters and enjoy the island at my own pace. The staff was professional and helpful, always ready to provide useful information without being intrusive, which I really enjoyed traveling alone. A reliable, well-organized and perfect service for those looking for an authentic and relaxing experience in the Tremiti Islands, especially out of season. Highly recommended.

Aggressive overbooking

Beware of online bookings, because the shipping company that operates the route to the Tremiti Islands overbooks and you risk being grounded despite having booked your ticket online weeks in advance. Unfortunately to protect their commercial interests they have no qualms about canceling your programs and any reservations that are related on the islands. I suggest you take your ticket a few days before directly at the port because they have unfair commercial agreements with the various agencies that sell many more tickets than the statistical percentage.

Tourist proposal that leaves me very puzzled but bad place. Get informed!

The place is lovely definitely but the visit from Vieste by boat with round trip solution in the same day plus sightseeing for the islands is for me a bad solution. The feeling in the end was to make 3 hours total by ferry and then be tossed between the two main islands without a Welcoming and valid tourist options, basically abandoned in two marinas where in one you can only see the abbey (practically a construction site, no joke) reached via a mule track where it is very easy to slip - eye better shoes with soles than sandals or slippers. To tell the truth from the abbey you can see a wonderful view, this is beautiful. Yeah. After the boat takes you to the other island where I hoped to see beautiful places and take an unforgettable swim. Honestly, I felt fooled instead. There wasn't even a place in the shade to have a sandwich. I did the swim in the only beach available that was full for the totality of paid beaches (but to do what if they are in natural paradise?). So I found myself bivouacking with my unfortunate companions of this tourist misadventure as desperate means... To say: in the end you are coming to Vieste and already the bath you take in Marina Piccola is 10 times better. What did you do to all that ferry hours and hours? There will surely be wonderful places to see and you are stuck in a sandy beach in the middle of the crowd... but what is it? At this point you understand something that no one has told you: to enjoy the island you have to put your hand to your wallet again and rent a boat / dinghy to go see places that are definitely lovely, but here is the beauty! If you chose to see the abbey, to take the boat ride (very missable, you didn't expect anything) and the tourist stunt of diving from the boat to catch a glimpse of the submerged statue of Padre Pio (I don't care, maybe someone likes it), in short, if you have wasted time doing these things now you have a couple of hours left, so even if you want to save the day (perhaps) by renting a dinghy you would have very little time. In short: before venturing into this "dream" of the Tremiti islands, think about what kind of tourist you are. If you just need to take a dip to see the statue of Padre Pio and take a couple of photos in the crowd to say you have been to the Tremiti to put on Instagram, then fine. Otherwise, consider NOT DOING the sightseeing but renting as soon as you arrive a rubber boat or contacting people who will show you interesting places maybe already in the days before, find out where they will make you STOP for bathing and diving and for how long - this makes all the difference in the world. I noticed that another gentleman reviewed the experience at Peschici's reporting some considerations quite similar to mine strangely just today! Think about it, I have had my say in conscience!
