We went two adults and a 13 year old in kayaks (plastic, stable). The groups are mixed with SUPs and kayaks. Quiet, peaceful, good guide, nice tour, ffa if you've never seen mangroves up close (and we hadn't). Not too long, not stressful, you paddle partly under the trees and partly out in the sun, we think paddled for an hour. Just right. You can borrow shoes. We saw an ammonite (really large fossil, an extinct octopus relative, lived during the time of the dinosaurs). We got to see Japan's largest butterfly, white so not very visually impressive. Highly recommend the tour (not for toddlers).

We had an absolutely terrific time. Our guide Sota was extremely funny, thoughtful and knowledgeable. Canoeing down the river surrounded by mangroves was both stunning and peaceful. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone considering it. Also loved all the pictures and video Sota took to help us capture all these wonderful memories.

It all worked out great and we had a really great tour in the mangroves. Our guide was very nice and entertaining and we can only recommend the canoe trip
